Q Hotels - The Park Royal Hotel

Jill Willstrop: I would highly recommend this hotel ans spa to everyone. We came here for a hen weekend, there were 14 girls of mixed ages and we were all booked in for spa treatments too.
The Hotel itself is lovely, spacious and clean, the rooms were fab too. The staff were brilliant, from the time we arrived to the time we left, the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
The treatments were lovely, the spa facilities were great the food was amazing. All in all couldn’t fault it. Everyone of the party were so pleased with it we are going back again next year. Thank you to all the staff at The Park Royal Hotel, Warrington you were FANTASTIC xx

We have enjoyed a great two days stay at the Park Royal. The staff were all super friendly, without exception making for a very relaxed stay. Breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of choice. We eat both nights and were not disappointed. The pool and sauna were a nice bonus. Excellent value throughout.

I stayed at this hotel last week and had a very good experience. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. I arrived by bike and it was no trouble for the staff to put my bike in a safe place while I was not using it. The room was a good size and very clean and well appointed. The food was quite good if a little overpriced but the wine was excellent and not overpriced so I was quite happy and glad I had not read the other reviews before booking.

For English conditions, a reasonable standard. After the hotel had experienced some alterations and changes during the past few years, it still has not worn-out.

It seems that it still misses a well-trained staff, and even though its big numbers the service was not as one would expect.

Although the Highway is not far away the hotel is so quiet that you’re not able to hear the traffic and street noise.

Ideal is its positioning: To Liverpool or Manchester you needed about 40 mins with public transport.

Tip: DayOver ticket for the Bus, pre-order train tickets via the Internet!

I havent actually stayed in the hotel so the stars are for the health club as I used to be a member here. The club is great place to go and keep fit or have a swim. Very clean and friendly. Recently updated fitness equipment. With 2 gym rooms, steam room sauna & pool. Its great place to join if you can afford it as it roughly cost £50 a month per person, probably competitive rate, for the area though. The hotel does look clean and staff are always friendly. Food in the club is nice and also have a beauty spa.

This suits some people as it is a standard motel type place, just off the M56, but passing itself off as a really high class hotel. My old works used to go every Christmas for the weekend but stopped a few years ago when the meal became inedible - all frozen, pre-cooked rubbish.
The accommodation is reasonable and the facilities (gym, pool, sauna etc.) are good, so it does achieve a couple of stars.

Apauling rip off, low quality of customer sirvice and lack of cleanliness in the staff parts. Avoid like the plauge. Slash.
