best museum.i didn’t have enough time so watched quick but still sooooo nice!wanna go again.

Lousiana is a lovely museum of modern art. Situated just north of Copenhagen it is easy to reach by train from the central station and special discounted tickets can be bought from DSB train stations in Copenhagen. If you have a car the ride along the coastal road ‘Strandvejen’ beautiful and parking is free.

Louisiana has a very special fell due to its surroundings. There is a lovely view of the sea and the Swedish coastline, which provides the perfect backdrop for the lovely pieces of art. The sculpture garden is fantastic and who would not like to see a Henry Moore in such fantastic surroundings?
Louisiana puts on many different exhibitions with masterpieces borrowed from all over the world. The latest Cezanne and Giacometti (on till 29th June 2008) is absolutely superb!

Louisiana is child friendly and has a workshop house ‘børnehuset’ which puts on various activities for all age groups. The garden is also nice for the kids to play in and has lovely hills to roll down just outside the cafe.

The cafe is nice with a perfect view. They serve a range of hot and cold food both for lunch and dinner. As you can imagine it is a little pricey but not too bad considering the good quality.
The museum shop is brilliant with a wide range of domestic designer gadgets, clothes, books etc. It is the perfect place to find a present for friends, family or yourself.
Louisiana is a lovely place and should not be missed!
