Deli Boutique

It was a rainy, miserable morning. We got out of bed around 10.00. Hungry, we decided to have some brunch somewhere.

We always pass a little cafe called the Deli Boutique on my way to work. It looks good from the outside, and always planned to try it one day and today seems to be the lucky day.

It’s definitely bigger than how it looks from the outside. What I like about is the sitting area in the little ’ orangerie’. It has a very French feeling about it.

The coffee was very good. It s quite difficult to get a perfect cup of coffee; and the coffee here has to one of the best. I had two cups of Cafe Latte.

Ordered myself a crepe with ratatouille, egg and cheese. It was served with some salad. Great for light lunches or brunches. Very French. I love French and I loved it!

We had some desert; the crème brulee was prepared to perfection. Wasn’t very happy with the Tiramisu. Needed more espresso and Marsala wine!

In short, it’s lovely place with average but lovely food. Fresh baked bread everyday is a plus point. It’s reasonable and so near to home, the ambience overwhelmed the food. But both together it’s perfect. This could be on of my regular Sunday brunch hang outs! I would recommend it to anyone who lives near Wandsworth or Clapham Junction.

Absolutely love this place! We have been visiting for the last 2 years and never once have been disappointed! Wonderful food, coffee and atmosphere. Perfect for Sat/Sun brunch or for an evening drink and cake – they’ve just started serving a nice glass/bottle of wine for those that want one. The owner is lovely and always welcoming when you arrive. Staff are also very good.

Took my parents over this weekend and they loved it too. We sat outside in their little garden, which is delightful with lots of plants/flowers growing adding to its delight! Would recommend the Croques and the dauphinoise potatoes.

Seems to be a conversion of a regular suburban house, complete with long narrow garden, to become a small restaurant, delicatessen and café. The garden is lovely to sit in and have your meal - I had the day's special which was lasagne.

What an amazing place! My only criticism, being a critical critic, is the lack of available criticism!

Great food: wide variety of available products, high quality and is obviously made to a high standard. If I am looking to enjoy some French food, be it morning, lunch of even the under rated "goutee" that France Enjoys, this is my first choice.

5 star atmosphere: If the decorations and the rustic feel wasn't enough, then the staff complete the great feeling of the deli boutique. I always feel welcome and enjoy their company.

Location: Couldn't be better in my opinion. On the high street of St Johns Hill, it is worth walking from Clapham Junction station to satisfy my gourmet requirement! Always feels good to burn of those extra calories before even eating. :)

All in all: 5 star is an insult, I am going to contact this website and request that, on this occasion, that they allocate 5 more stars for this Deli.

Deli Boutique is one of those places that you could go to every day of the week, trying something different on each occasion.

The staff are really friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxed, but the quality and range of food on offer is fantastic!

Their wide range of cheeses and hams are excellent (not something you would find in Sainsburys) and with the ready meals, there’s no need to cook at home anymore!

It’s just what the area needed, and although it’s been open for 18 months now, we’ve only just discovered it and are now regular customers.

If you live in the Clapham Junction/Wandsworth area it’s definitely worth a visit.

This is one of my favourite places. Fantasic coffee and food. Very friendly owners.
