One of the cheapest beers in London people!! A Samuel Smith pub. nuff said
What a beautiful pub, both inside and out. It is worth coming here to have a look, even if you don't drink!
But if you do drink, can I recommend the keg stout. It is delicious. And a bargain.
As others have said, this old cottage is a Sam Smith’s and for those who don’t know, this is a private brewer that’s been going for 100 years and has pubs across London. You will only find home brand bottles in here from beer to cider, and it’s guaranteed to be cheaper than most other bars and pubs.
This place itself is not the sort of place you’d take a date and we only decided to go as it was a rare bonny evening and they have a lot of outdoor tables. There’s a noticeable age line separating outside and inside and if you’re sprouting any gray hairs I’m afraid you’ll have to stay indoors to keep the balance.
The toilets are pretty grungy and inside is not much to look at but for a cheap pint with an outside table it’s not a bad bet.

Beer and larger are ok but not great, there’s a beer garden which is a little close to the road but ok. It’s located directly across the road from the Swiss Cottage tube station. Unfortunatly it closes at 11:00 sharp!
Nice place for a chat and Nice beer (Samuel Smith). That’s all. The whole atmosphere of this pub almost remembers me of a retirement meet up in Switzerland.
From the outside this pub looks like a stereotypical ‘Swiss Cottage’ and I’m not joking when I say this, it even has the red and white striped poles running across it. It’s deceptive from the outside, because you’d imagine the bar staff to be in traditional outfits to match the decor but you meet them and that’s not the case, but they’re friendly enough.
The atmosphere and people who drink there are quite down-to-earth and a good bunch of people. The drink is really reasonable and they even stock White beer, which is my favourite. If you see it and you really can’t miss it, pop in but I don’t think it’d be a regular spot to drink.
Located right opposite the tube station and being the only building around that looks like a cottage makes it hard to miss. I couldn’t say to what extent it’s cottage-ness is authentic, but in any case it is genuinely homely and cosy. It kind of feels like a big living room. There’s also outdoor seating, which works well if you’re there late at night, but I’d imagine it’d be much less pleasant to sit outside around rush hour, with two big busy roads on either side. It’s a Samuel Smith pub, which is always a winner with me since I’m rather partial to their stout. I wouldn’t bother going here specially but it’s a good choice if you’re in the area.
