What a strange little place! lovely but strange. If you don’t know its there then you aren’t going to find it easily. nice jazz bar, good drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Nice staff and the crowd is always nice in here. i don’t know if anyone else has ever experienced it but there has been a one off night where they have a comedian come in. But more of an open mic night where people get up and change around ect ect…..
The music here is great, if you like jazz, if not then i suggest this isn’t actually your type of place.
It is very cosy in here and in all honesty good for a first date i think or newly together couples. Nice little places in here for a quiet romantic moment ;)
Can stay open quite late but never rowdy as such.
Not sure if this has become one of franks pubs now? or changed ownership in some form?

Hurrah! No one ever knows where this place is! (And it would stay that we if people didn't review it on Qype - catch 22!) I love this bar. It's not only the best late night bar in Greenwich, it might just be one of the best jazz bars in the whole of London.

It's got everything going for it. It looks like a jazz bar for a start. Now that might sounds silly, but how many bars do you see in London that have clearly just thought 'let's have some Jazz one night'. It never feels the same. Olivers is a jazz bar through and through. You have to go downstairs (for some reason I find this important) and it's red and dark and a bit sleazy. It's very intimate and wonderfully romantic, but you can also go here with a bunch of mates.

The music they have is great. Really well chosen. Very chilled on a friday, more lively on a Saturday. Perfect. They've got a new lounge bar which doens't feel like it's just been 'added on' for the sake of it. They've really thought about it.

They stay open til about 3, sometimes 4 and you can't come here and not have fun. Though I do suggest that if you come here with anyone of the opposite sex, it might be too tempting to share a kiss in a sneaky little corner...

It's quite a romantic place for late night drinks, looks like a piano bar actually. The place is located in a quiet corner of busy Greenwich and doesn't really catch the eyes, after few visits I still walked pass the entrance every now and then.

Oliver is not opened everyday so better call and check their business hours beforehand. Never seen it busy before. The place is quite spacious and has lots of interesting stuff to draw your attention. Nice music too.

Olivers is a seedy little Jazz bar, situated in the heart of Greenwich and ideal for those who want a late night drinking spot without venturing into Central London.
The bar is unsophisticated to say the least; one ‘barman’ with some coke bottles, spirit optics and a fridge full of beers, but this all adds to its charm.
The main room is low lit, with rawt iron tables and chairs and a New York Blues Bar feel to it. They almost always have live music on (usually Jazz) and its owner; Oliver can usually be found sharing a drink and a chat with customers.
Closing time is when the last people leave and I would thoroughly recommend it to South Londoners who want to impress their friends with an ‘I know this little place’ bar that as a passer bye you would never know existed.
