The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Valenciennes, surrounded by nothing else than industrial land. The reception was very friendly and spoke good English this time (I was here before). Despite the fact that I didn't book in advance, I got a beautiful spacious room. There was a bathroom with tub, the toilet was separate. The rooms are very quiet despite the nearby motorway. The selection at the restaurant is OK, but not amazing. The breakfast was richer than the typically french breakfast, but the staff was overwhelmed with the guests at 7am. Coffee only on request. Good parking.
