The Windmill Terracotta, Cranbrook

Very welcoming when we arrived, and the Restaurant was empty....from then on, down-hill fast.
We waited an hour and a half for our meals.
We only got drinks after we ended up going to get the staff and requesting drinks.
Pasta was over-cooked and cold. Terribly disappointing and extremely expensive. So awful. Couldn't wait to leave and get home. Will not be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Terracotta. The welcome was warm and welcoming, as was the roaring log fire. The menu was entensive and I had difficulty deciding what to choose. Spent a delightful evening there with my wife and daughter, and it didn't cost a fortune.

The Windmill Terracotta used to be The Windmill Pub and was completely refurbished a few years back and turned into an nice little italian restaurant.

The menu is expansive without being overwhelming - fresh pasta, seafood and meat + classic italian dishes you would expect (great pizzas!). If the weather is fine, there is also a nice little outdoor bit for Al Fresco dining.

Friendly staff, great prices…. this place is flirting with 5 stars.
