Nando's

Love this nandos…. Yummmy

I was served this evening in the Putney Nando's by 'Andres', I didn't realise that I could get a free quarter chicken with my third order with my loyalty card until I had already ordered.

Andre spent 10 minutes arguing with me and telling me that I was wrong and lecturing me about making sure I understand how their loyalty card works.  Having run a successful business for 10 years I was somewhat disgusted by this guys attitude, has he never heard the tenet 'the customer is always right?

He eventually conceded that the till could process a receipt after lying about this and trying to fob me off with ringing head office then said in a huffy voice 'can I serve other customers then' - his lovely way of asking me to move out of the way.

I proceeded to watch him scowling at other customers as I ate my cold food.  I won't be  going back to Nando's due to this experience, which is a shame as I always spoke well of it up to now.

Nando's would do well to cut this grumpy youth 'Andres' from their store staff to prevent any other customers having to deal with his awful customer manner and terrible attitude.  

All Nando’s restaurants turn out good quality food which is resonably priced and cooked quickly from scratch in a kitchen which is visible from where you are eating. The food tastes great and is tailor-made to suit your tastes from mild to incredibly spicy food. Th Nando’s in Putney is a vibrant, buzzing place with Portguese music so you really get the whole experience. The takeaways are good and as is eating in. It is a great place to go for food in Putney and anywhere else where there is a Nando’s restaurant.

Usual Nando’s food, but the South African female manager in here has a real bad aggressive attitude problem. They bought out food that was different to what we ordered on the ticket and it seemed to be our fault!!

I love Nando's! Nando's is fast food with a difference. You go up to the front, order- decide how spicy you want your food- and pay. Your food is cooked well, it doesn't taste like it's just been cooked by a 16 year old like in some chains (ahem) and comes quickly.

What's great about Nando's is the atmosphere. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, the restaurant is clean and go for the never ending frozen yoghurt!
