Average Berlin bar. Everyone is smoking and they have clearly found some furniture on the streets or at some markets and put it all together. On the other hand on a weekday it can be a great place to catch up with freinds along with a bier or two. Music is also a bit boring
One of my favourite bars, great people and nice staff. Good Music. Perfect party place on the weekends

Solid bar in Prenzlauerberg to warm up in. Cheap as chips with the Augustina barometer set at €2.50! Late twenties crowd and minimal beats.

A well-known place in Berlin, and it is really nice … Customers are coming from all over the world but you can also find a lot of Berliners in the huge sofas around the retro/ 80’s coffee tables. The decoration is great : you can see big vintage posters on the walls, a DJ playing great music (drum’n bass or electro lounge), friendly staff, cheap cocktails (4 to 6 euros) and smallish terrace.
I agree with Andrew that I don’t get it. There’s nothing to rave about here, yet it’s packed. I found the crowd to be more 30’ish the night I was there but it was a mix. Seating isn’t very comfortable and everyone packs in together. The bar is horribly slow with poorly mixed drinks by bartenders who are basically doing their job because they have nothing better to do. Bathrooms are kind of grungy and in general, the place is small. This place lives basically on its location and popularity. Also I guess it’s fairly cheap in comparison to other cities.
Inexplicably popular bar for a place that is basically a square room with old, liquor stained couches, some disco balls, and a studious, mellow DJ. The crowd is young, early 20s, and friendly enough. One small bar at the back. Minimal outdoor seating (basically accomplished by hauling a chair onto the sidewalk).
It’s not that I really have anything bad to say, I just can’t really think of anything that sets it apart, other than it’s kind of fun name. I guess it’s unpretentious, in a slightly good way. In that sense, it does what it says on the tin.
