If you can get quite a way from the bridge it's always nice to take a picture of the whole thing.Quite a lot of walking involved if your'e walking from the tube but lots of nice scenery.

Planning a visit to London then besure to visit Tower Bridge Exhibition.
The Tower Bridge in London is a very famous building. It`s great, to take photos for this building. I love it.

Built 1886-1894 it is a combined bascule (centre raises) & suspension bridge
and was built to relieve the crowded area of the East End while making it
possible for people who moved out, to re-enter to do business in the City.
It is rather beautiful & iconic : probably the most famous bridge
in the world. Tower Bridge houses four unique venues; the high level Walkways, winner of the 2010 Eventia Gold Award for best Small Venue offering spectacular views of the Thames, the North Tower Lounge, the huge Victorian Engine Rooms and the Bridge Master’s Dining Room.

Whether you decide to visit the exhibitions or not this bridge is steeped in history and somehow brings out the romance in all who choose this route for their journey. Often the place for theatre and activity too!

This is absolutely my favourite bridge in London (does everyone have a favourite bridge? I have three.) Tower Bridge will absolutely put a smile on my face every time I have to walk over it. Actually, if I'm this end of town, I'll orchestrate my route to my destination so I DO have to walk over it. It's fun.
Strangely, I've never been to the exhibitions. I don't care, it still gets five stars from me. Perfect for evening strolls, perfect for photo taking and bloody perfect for overpriced sugar nut snacks. There's something very romantic about strolling along this bridge, and it makes London look damn pretty at night too.
Might go and have a stroll over it now.

My parents took us on several trips to this lovely bridge in the 60's and 70's. As a child, school took us there and the Tower of London on excursions. I have taken my children and grandchildren and each time is different. It is a national heritage that always captivates the heart. I would love to visit it more often.

One of the great wonders of the world. Got to see this at least a couple times. I was there in December for New Years and it was a blast. Not sure if i will do another London New Years but London is the best place.
