Extremely nice! Went there with a friend last night. Service was great, atmosphere a bit quiet but welcoming - especially like the boardgames if you feel like playing Scrabble etc - great for a rainy evening!

Food was better than expected - my torteloni with cheese and tomato was really fantastic. My companion’s burger was very nice indeed - only complaint was the chips - they had a slight air of oven chips about them - although couldn’t be certain.

Desserts were better than expected - really lovely! Eton mess probably the best I’ve had, and my chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce was surprisingly treacly - unexpected and delicious.

If you’re in the Waterloo area I really recommend this place. The food is much much better than that Young Vic place, and the service is a million times better
