Great little restaurant ,really good food,very reasonably priced ,friendly staff and a really good atmosphere.This place is great for a night out or try the day time lunch menu three courses for £9.95,BARGAIN!!.The Only downer,they serve kronenbourg 1664(the best beer in the world,and only lager of any kind i drink) but not on draught ,infact all beer is bottled ,never the less have a reasonably priced wine list.That said this is still a little gem,

Chez Jules is one of my favourite restaurants in the city centre, either for a casual mid-shop lunch on a Saturday, or for a slightly more formal meal in the evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual - you could be wearing jeans or an evening gown and feel at home in either. The food is classic, excellent quality and there is wonderful, quick service by the friendly staff. They also have excellent weekly deals and menu specials which are well worth looking out for.

This restaurant is centrally located, right in the middle of Birmingham so ideal for a great night out. It is just off New Street, in Ethel Street - look up and you'll see it. As you arrive you venture up the stairs and will find a warmly rustic setting, with plenty of big, long tables to accommodate your office parties, leaving do's, stag and hen parties etc. It is that kind of place, with set menus and the ability to pre-order your food so you don't have to wait too long on the night. There are a small number of smaller tables so you can go if you are a couple or a smaller group of friends, but the buzz from the larger groups might be slightly off-putting for romantic couples!

The food is great - classic french fare. I hadn't realised how rare it is to find a French restaurant these days, let alone one that is so reasonable and down to earth. Staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great - book your staff 'do' here now!

"Student cool" - that's how my friend described this place. It's not really that studenty at all, other than the prices! The food is awesome, really really good. You will not get a better £7.90 lunch anywhere in Britain, nevermind Birmingham. For your £7.90 you get a two course meal, starter and main. With your main make sure you choose the gratin dauphinois rather than the fries. I mean, the fries are excellent fries, but the gratin is amazing.
