excellent venue! set on 3 floors. Ist floor has a bar & area to sit. 2nd floor has a bar large dance floor & stage where many a good band play! On the 3rd floor is a resturant which serves top notch food!
Drink prices are a little steep but overall this venue is superb!

The Jam House is a lively venue with an excellent atmosphere and great food. They have a set menu which is resonably priced at £25 per head, drinks however are a little pricey.

An older crowd of 25+, lots of dancing and everyone having a good time. Can be quite loud so don't go if you want a quiet meal !

Strict dress code, no jeans. Excellent venue for money. A fab night out.

Now this is something very different for Birmingham, definitely aimed at the more mature end of the market. Definitely don't expect the usual crowd of underage drinkers!
This is a place that wants to entertain you... with its mixture of live bands and ecclectic music. If you stand on the middle deck you can't fail but to dance (I don't even think there are any seats there). You could certainly spend the whole evening here, eating, drinking and dancing. Dress smart and take plenty of money... By the time you leave here you'll be skint!!!

A great night out in Birmingham. I was a little shocked when we finally got in (half of our friends were too scruffy so they got left at the door), at the average age in here. But it was great fun. G&T is about 4 quid, which is steep for brum, but the quality of the live acts more than makes up for it and you can't fail to have a good time here. Well worth a look.

Jools Holland's Jam House is a great night out. The crowd is 21+ and the drinks are very expensive - get drunk somewhere else. The dress-code is strictly no trainers. Smart jeans are pushing it, but probably ok.

So why is it a five star venue, you might ask? Because they always have a wicked live band, and an amazing atmosphere. The warm-up act is generally a guy on a piano playing Little Richard/Jerry Lee Lewis type piano rock - brilliant itself. The main act rotates quite a bit. Sometimes you'll have a rock band, sometimes funk, sometimes soul, but often a mixture of the lot. They generally play covers of famous hits, but it's somehow so much better to have your club music played live.

One word of warning: It's *very* loud.
