“Pho opened in Clerkenwell in June 2005 as London's first Vietnamese street food restaurant. We're small, informal and serve great value, deliciously healthy and authentically prepared Vietnamese food. At Pho we keep it simple. The short menu means...” more...

This labyrinthine underground private members' club is centrally located in the heart of the bustling capital, and just a stone's throw from the glitzy Savoy. Catering to private members, media types and those wishing to host impressive private functions, this elegant cavern offers a variety of socialising options including a restaurant, bar, meeting room, library and dance floor.
The club's central address provides the perfect spot for corporate events and social gatherings - whether during the working day or in the evening - and the ideal location in which to mix business with pleasure. Having attended a women in leadership tea conference - and listened to motivational speaker Dr John Demartini - I can also vouch that the freshly baked scones are delicious!

Ehab Mechail, 18 March 2011:
I have also visited here for a few one-offs and it's a tidy little venue, discreetly tucked away just off The Strand.
I have no idea what the membership costs are, or more to the point whether they'd accept a common oik like me. What you would get for your dough, though, is a stylish, plush intimate hangout with friendly staff and impress-your-friends decor.
They host a whole variety of events, I have been here for everything from a sophisticated evening of all things chocolate to a right old royal hipsters' knees-up.
I have encountered a few strange people in here that I wouldn't care to share personal details with - mind you that can't happen anywhere and they don't lose a star for that now, do they.

I recently went to an event here. You can instantly tell it's a members club- the tiny plaque on the door, reception desk that doubles as a cloakroom, large lounge chairs scattered about and interesting looking private rooms running off the side of the bar. I like the interior, it is a bit hotel, but the roof is raw rock style and really low, but instead of making you feel claustrophobic is feels intimate.
Staff were great and attentive, and the place was spotless despite our party getting crumbly almond biscuits and liquid chocolate.

Adam Street is a great club, one of my favourite in London. There’s often parties on friday and saturday nights which are good fun, the DJ’s they get in are great.
There’s a great atmosphere here and i love the cellar feel of it with exposed brick and a stunning bar.
The food is also fantastic, some of the best in London, if you’re not a member then you can dine there on weekday lunchtimes.

Situated within a house down a residental-seeming street, this private members club was a really enjoyable experience.
Descending down the stairs to enter the venue, we left our coats in the cloakroom and walking further into what seemed like an archaeological site, we were treated to the most unique place I have been to for awhile.
The ceiling is rounded and the bar is beautifully funky. There are only two rooms and they are intimate places where friends are easily met and made.
The mojito was perfect, the bar staff fun and everyone worked hard to ensure all in attendance had a great time. I highly recommend it!

I went out on Adam's Street to a private bar and club and it was fantastic. Very small but very exclusive! It was as if we were in a house as there was no advertisement for the club so you only went there if you knew about it!!!
