I was most underwhelmed by the bagels at this Goswell Rd takeaway. I can say their bagels are big, just not beautiful nor particularly tasty. Not all the original either really. However, they are extremely popular. This place gets jammed around lunchtime. I suppose OBB’s low pricing strategy and ability to fill orders relatively quickly have a lot to do with its popularity. And then there’s OBB’s location. It’s a good one with plenty of food traffic yet not that many other quick bite options for some odd reason. I guess Original Bagel Bakery is worth keeping in mind if you’re in this area a lot without the luxury of time.

If you want a good bagel this is where you want to go! I have been going for years and it started of quite basic with just a few bagels to choose from but now they do everything from smoothies to a sausage sandwich.They do great deals form day to day which are such a bargain its no wonder its so busy. They do all sorts of types of bagels like a rustic,plain,seeded and even a chocolate bagel.The smoothies are to die for they do every flavour you could ever think of and they really are delicious.There is seating outside but very limited however i feel its such a great place just to drop in get what you want and be on your way!
