A great little Greek restaurant near to Hyde Park.

As soon as I walked in I was made to feel right at home by the staff. They joked with us, brought over another table to give us some more room as they weren’t yet too busy, gave us some nibbles to munch on as we perused the menu… really nice.

The food itself was really good (I’m getting hungry just remembering it). Hummus, tsatsiki and warm pittas to start (pittas were obviously right out the oven and they brought over a fresh bowl of them without us asking) followed by a very generous chicken kebab which was was made up of huge chunks of chicken cooked to perfection (not dry at all).

I even treated myself to a cup of sludgy, Greek coffee to finish (which meant I couldn’t get to sleep very easily that night, but it’s a small price to pay).

Bill came to almost exctly £50 for the both of us. Which isn’t exactly cheap (the only alcohol we had was one shot of ouzo at the end of the meal) but isn’t too bad for this area.

My only gripe: it was a gloriously sunny day and there was no outdoor area to sit in, but that’s hardly their fault!

This restaurant is tucked away in a quiet area and from the outside it looks warm, friendly, and cosy. Once inside, it is exactly that.
The staff are very friendly. They are mostly Greek which add to the authenticity of the restaurant and also means that they can recommend the best dishes.
The restaurant is small and slightly cramped, but once the food arrives, you forget about that as you savour the delicious Greek cuisine. They have a variety of dishes and there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
The prices are reasonable as the food is of a very high quality.
This is a great lively place to go for a meal if you're after good food and a great atmosphere.

A small but excellent small Greek restaurant between Bayswater and Paddington. The place is almost always packed as people come here to get some of the best Greek and Mediterranean food one can find in London. The room is small and the atmosphere always very warm and buzzy. If you live around there you can also get some excellent take-away.
