The Delicious Deli serves cold meats and olives and other traditional deli items. It also doubles up as a cafe, serving paninis, sandwiches, pies, quiches and other pastries. There is a gorgeous garden at the back which is great for children. They serve a range of coffees, tea and hot chocolate - and babycino's are free. The food is all fresh and the homemade scotch eggs are a real highlight. The staff are very friendly and are very knowledgable about the products. The cheese counter features a range of popular cheeses such as cheddar and stilton, but also has some lesser known cheeses such as pecorino and vignotte. The opening hours are great for people who work during the day and they have recently started serving their sandwiches on a Sunday. If breakfast is what you're looking for they serve croissants, pain au chocolats, pain au raisins and a range of danishes - as well as hot bacon sandwiches. Their selection of fresh breads is fantastic. Overall The Delicious Deli is a fabulous deli and cafe, whatever you are after they will have it!
