This happened to be the first cafe me and my friend Mark went to in Amsterdam, and it’s probably the best. It was the outside of the place that caught my eye, it’s kind of moroccan. The producers of Oceans 12 must have liked it too, they set the Robbie Coltrane baffles Matt Damon scene here. Inside the theme continues, and there are various certificates and such on the walls for the awards its won. Mark selected what we would have, which apparently was rather strong. My famous last words were ‘I’m getting nothing from this’ and then I stood up, my glasses fell off, I couldn’t walk, passed out and cracked my head on the floor. Next thing I knew I was outside being administered sugar water by the waitress. Everyone chanted ‘fall down fall down it’s a fall down’ but I had fallen down by that stage and did not hear their remarks.
