The currywurst is average topped with Hela ketchup and a littlebit of curry.
With a few potatos this is GBP 5.80,- which is still ok for London.
The sausages and the potatos we had were cold.
So I can only recommend this place as average and not even close to places where you would get a really good german sausages like at the Curry36 in Berlin or at the Moe-Grill in Hamburg

Excellent spot for a quick, filling and reasonable bite to eat. It’s open all day, as well as late, and you can wash down your wurst with a cold beer. Friendly service and BOGOF with Taste Card. YUM.

Unique concept of traditional German sausage and sauerkraut, and geared towards City workers looking for a quick lunch to take back to their desk. Not much seating space inside. Plus, you probably don’t want to seat inside, as the smell and smoke of the sausages being grilled in-store will make you smell like bratwurst all afternoon!
Pricewise, its a bit pricey at £7 for what is a fancy sausage, a small baguette, some pickled vegetables, and cubes of potatoes. But if you’re looking for something different from the standard Pret & Eat sandwiches, this is good.
Tastewise it was decent – the cheese bratwurst was quite interesting. Sauerkraut was ok, as was the fried potato cubes. Nothing really special.
Do get a TasteCard if you can – they offer buy one get one free!

Good proper Bratwurst, can recommend the Krakauer as it has a full flavour. Can't recommend the Bratkartoffeln (roasted potatoes), they were cold and tasted only of black pepper.

This is a great little place to have some Wurst & Sauerkraut especially after (or if you are in one of the bars in the local area, during) some beers. On a Friday and Saturday it's open 24hrs which is handy if you have a few too many and you need something to settle things down a bit before going home.
I think it is a little pricey however, that said, I'd rather eat here than from one of those street urchins that pop up just as you roll out the pub, you know what I'm talking about, can you smell the onions? Hmmm!

This is a great place if you want a take away with a difference. Great quality sausages and beer on the go!

Not too pricey but not too cheap either. Good food and the odd promotion/deal.

Kurz and Lang is a fair to middling takeaway counter in Farringdon. Styling somewhere between the traditional German sausage booth and a British butchers, it serves sausage in several styles and to go with them, the salty, golden potato cubes known as Bratkartoffeln. It's difficult to get such a simple joy wrong, and they thankfully don't. A recent visit served up a perfect currywurst, steamed, sliced and served under a thick blanket of 'curry' sauce, in reality a heavy mix of tomato ketchup and curry powder.

The wursts served here are quite generously portioned and definitely taste good! Prices are quite reasonable in that you get quite a combo with £6 or above =]
The side orders and drinks are also reasonably priced and that you can pay with Mastercard/Visa Paywave, which is really convenient!!

I love Kurz & Lang. You can get a pretty decent meal (for someone of my size) for £6. The potato cubes are really tasty as well. I don't think £6 is pricey given the area. I used to work around there and would struggle to keep my lunch budget to less than £8 inclusive of a beverage. K&L also opens late, and is a great place to hang out if you're checking out of the nightspots in the area.

Oooh hello new favourite drunken takeaway place!
I'll be honest, I've walked past this place more times than I can count, and it's never appealed. Because I hate Frankfurters. Not sausages, no, they're yummy. But they're for grilling and frying, not for boiling. They remind me of those tinned hotdogs we'd have whilst camping when I was a kid. I hated them.
But then I went to Berlin and tried Currywurst. And there's not many things more ingenious than currywurst. "Hmmm... what would make this sausage and chips meal better? Let's chop it up and throw curry on it!" It's brilliant.
And you can buy it here. From friendly staff. Whilst there's a blizzard and a rainstorm outside (I was there on Friday). It was my birthday party, we'd drunk the bar dry and we were starving. But at this end of town the only other option was a sandwich shop. It was too rainy to walk to Exmouth Market and we finally tried the place we'd walked past for years.
Currywurst and fries was about a fiver. An awesome way to end a birthday, especially if your mate makes you a cuppa to go with it when you get in from the rain. Wonderful.

I guess you call this a German fast food place. 6 pounds gets you a sausage of your choice with potatoe cubes, sauerkraut and some bread.
I suppose you could see this as expensive if you usually get a sandwich for lunch, but I actually think the price is very reasonable given that you can eat in, if there is space and also given that what they are serving is not something you can find in that many places. I was certainly filled up by the serving, which doesn’t happen when I just have a sandwich.
And it tastes great. I had the curry wurst and it tasted like ones I had in Berlin. I added some great mustard (I used to hate mustard until I had the German stuff). Best lunch I’ve had in an age. I plan to go back and try some of the other sausages too. The staff were very friendly (and Germanic as you would expect).

Original bratwurst. Great if you fancy a quick taste of Germany. A bit pricey though.

Deservedly popular place. They offer a “Wurst meal” deal which is sausage, potatoe squares, sauerkraut and a choice of bread for under a fiver. Beers also available if wanted. Friendly staff.
They manage to cram a lot of seating into a small site without it feeling crowded.

The concept of this little takeaway store is easy with a simple menu that it serves to everyone for many hours in the day. Its open shortly before lunchtime everyday, and continues to be open until the wee hours of the morning. It’s a perfect location for all those people rolling in or out of Fabric, located just around the corner.
Everything is based on German sausages served in a bun. Being more composed of meats rather than fat, they definitely seem significantly less greasy than those that you see being cooked in those portable carts. Better yet, you can have it with some sauerkraut all at very reasonable prices.

Kurz & Lang is a German take-away where you can find all types of German sausages (Wurst) and sauerkraut.
Sauerkraut+Wurst: £1.30
They also have special deals during the 'Oktoberfest'
