Every Saturday, there is a Market near Whitgift at Croydon. There you can find, nice patisseries, cheeses, sweets and other kind of foods (meat, bread...).

It's also the great place if you like fair-trade products.

There is also a lady who sells sweet or sour crêpes (pancakes). The lady used to live in Britanny so does it the French way and they are delicious. The only problem is that there is an enormous queue at her stand and you have to wait more than ten minutes. But it's really worth the wait!
