Chula is a nice restaurant, with very decent food. I found the portions to be on the small size which meant that the bill was higher than I would expect for the type and quantity of food we ate.
The restaurant is small and rather quiet inside, which is refreshing in the busy King street on a Friday night. Service was fine. Nothing out of this world but fine overall.
The quality of the food was good and we certainly enjoyed it. I was there with a large group of people and everyone was satisfied with the place. Nobody raved about it as it offers nothing unusual and nothing memorable.
I would go there again but would probably not go out of the way to get there. An easy enough restaurant if you happen to be in Hammersmith and fancy Indian food without attitude.
We had a great time. On a hungover Sunday morning, it was an ideal spot - not too busy but with lots of atmosphere and the food/service was very good. Would like to return.

I have never eaten inside this Indian restaurant, hope to one day but have had many takeaways & they are delicious. I usually order by phone & it has arrived within half an hour. The food is great value for money, large portions & sooo nice, i highly recommend them :)

This small, friendly indian restaurant offers a well cooked, varied and good value lunch buffet. Popular with local workers the service is excellent so ensures that you will be in and out in an hour. For groups or those who have more time on their hands, the cushioned seating area to the rear of the restaurant offers a fun, relaxing and social atmosphere to enjoy your meal.

A somewhat stylish but over-priced Indian restaurant. The service is cool, the decor trendy, there’s a variety of food on offer but it somehow makes the whole place seem false, as if it’s a place to be seen at, as opposed to for good food.

I have only been to chula once. It was about 6 months ago and we had such a terrible experience with the food that we decided never to go back again. We ordered a main course of vegetables and what came back was a total disappointment. All vegetables were cut very badly and it was almost as if they were just thrown in there without cutting it proerply. The speices were also not mixed in properly to give it authentic indian taste. It was clear that they were in hurry just to get the tables turned over. The taste was also not good. I have heard it is under new management now but i would not be going there again for sure.

Here you will get nice rich quality indian food, whether you are lunch hungry or dinner try it out.
They have discounts at times, the place is nice and modern, if you are looking for a delicious indian meal stop by there.
Their buffet is something else, there is so much variety you have to tell yourself not to overeat.
And if you want delivery you go ahead cos they do that as well and you are having an event talk to them they’ll cater for you.

CHULA restaurant is a divine place to have a quick lunch or a celebratory dinner if you want to show off to your friends. I have eaten there at lunch time and their buffet consists of 32 dishes all lovingly prepared for 6.99. If you don't know Bangladeshi food and probably would like to try some then eat here at lunch time because you will be quite surprised by the authentic and stylishly prepared dishes.
Eating at this restaurant will dispell all your myths about Asian food being hot and over spiced. I got into conversation with the chef of this creation and was actually surprised to learn that he was born here but went back home to learn how to cook.
For the 6.99 which I think is excellent value you get salads, chutneys, pickles, vegetarian foods like pulses appetisingly cooked. There is a choice of pilaus, meat, chicken and fish dishes which are out of this world.
The decor has a very friendly atmosphere because it is tastefully decorated with antiques and unusual paraphenalia which would appeal to sophisticated. The unique selling point of this restaurant is that you eat in a traditional way. The back of the restaurant is designed to allow those with aching feet to take their shoes of and eat the Bengali way. Also there is a finger bowl service and different type os seating for those who don't want to be adventurous and just a satisfying meal.
