For all your jewellery making needs head to The Bead Shop in Covent Garden. The large range of beads, tools and equipment is well organized and high quality. However, the layout of the shop does not leave much space for customers and it can get rather crowded especially on Saturday afternoons so carrying large bags or a day's worth of shopping is not recommended.

The beads can be bought individually or in prepackaged pots and bags. If handpicking your beads make sure to label the price and quantity of beads on each of the bags to avoid confusion at the till. Be warned that it is very easy to get rather carried away and end up spending a small fortune.

A quirky little shop away from the main drag and souvenir shops with a great selection of beads and accessories. The decor outside announces that this shop is fun. The service was awesome too.

Hey,If you are searching for something particular for handmade jewellery. or you want to spend some time in an interesting place.. well, this is your place. The beads come in different sizes with beautiful colors and designs. Unfortunately, the last time I could not find some neon colors that I needed for my bracelet.
But still I think there you can find a great variety of beads. You can make any necklace or bracelet what you want:) It is very exciting to create new things.

A place you could spend hours when you had every intention of only popping in. Some beads & items are a bit pricey but it's worth it when you see how creative you can be with your own designs. Friendly staff who are happy to help & give you tips when asked.

I found this shop whilst having a few hours to spare around the Covent Garden area and I could quite happily spend all day in this shop if I could.

Fantasic helpful staff who are right on hand if you need some advice about which colour, size or style to go for.

Thousands upon Thousands of beads to choose from and always come out with great value for money.

This place is fabulous. There isn’t a better place to buy beads in London. The layout of this shop works, you usually know exactly what you want before you go in, but trust me, it’s easy to come out with millions of other stuff.

It’s the prices that I’m most impressed with. You can come out with millions of treasure, but will have only ever spend about £5.

Yay!

I used to buy tons of beads and wire from this place when it was in Neal Street. All I can say about it now is the prices have quadrupled.
Best buys are bargain bins and special offers other wise it is cheaper to buy beads online.

This is the bnest bead shop in London. Situated in Between Leicester square and Covent makes it really strategic to get too. They have all kinds of beads from swarovski crystals to wooden beads. If you are not sure what you need, the sales people there are always helpful. They can give you a piece of paper with a beginners guide for some basic bead making tips. You can also get books there that gives you more details about making bead necklases/jewellery. I learned how to make bead things by trail and error. I see something I like and I go out to buy the beads for it and try to string them together myself. If it works great if not I try again or I go into the shop for some help.

The Bead Shop has two floors stocked with everything from Swarovski crystals to semi-precious beads and sterling silver. It is so easy to get lost in, even if your not a bead enthusiast, and with their vast array of stock, its not hard to design your own one-off piece of jewellery. The staff are not only knowledgeable but seem to have a real passion for beads and jewellery-making a visit a highly enjoyable learning experience.

When I visited this shop, my jaws dropped. It was like I had just discovered a treasure chest. Looking all around me were numerous types of beads, ropes for embroidery, various crafts, forrtwear, scrap books, etc. I felt like I could make anything. The beads come in varying sizes with beautiful colours and designs. So, if you are an artistic person or looking to perfect your hidden talents, please visit this place. I take pride in my handiwork and I know lots of you do too. It is truly scintillating!
