I’ve been lodging at the Fun Factory for 6 months now, and boy has it been fun.

Peep show, Flight of the Concords, beer, BBQs, balconies, music and always some entertaining people hanging out.

'The’ place to start your night before heading out to be guided by the Fun Factory hosts around the Hamburg nightlife.

I stayed here about a month back and really enjoyed it. The location is close to good restaurants and nightlife. The decor could be described as “bachelor-pad chic.” With beer bottles artfully placed, one feels right at home. Much better than a pretentious 5-star hotel (and more affordable). There is a nice view from the balcony. I enjoyed spending afternoons in the common area reading or watching a movie from their large selection. Management is friendly and provide personalized city bike tours. Guided tours of night-clubs and bars are also available upon request.

Best place in Hamburg to sleep off a hangover!

Spotless, good food and frequented by fine-looking women. Some of the men aren’t bad either.

So good I’m going back for more.

I dont care if you invited or not….check this place out, i probably left some beer there. I went to hamburg for a weekend, but if you were to believe the photographic footage, you would think i never left the fun factory…but why would you. with your own personal server with 10s of thousands of songs, a Wii, and a balcony looking over the beautiful city of hamburg…there is nothing more you need when looking for an all in one place

The best place to stay in the whole city...plenty of room to sleep / pass out, fridges full of beer, a wii, huge TV, free interntet access and 2 hot boys to look after you...what else do you need? I will never stay anywhere else!

What can i say if you dont like beer dont bother going as thats all they serve - all 57 different brews. There are however plenty of people to party with and free shish all night long!
Breakfast is a low key affair with a choice of beer or German sausage and scrambled eggs.

All up the fun factory rocks on thurs - sun and turns into a nice quiet b & b mon - wed thats if you can ignore all the ruckus coming from upstairs with the 24 couch sulfers and 6 cases of beers!

They also dig mullets.

It was a fine Monday evening when I first learned of the fun factory. I've always been curious to know how fun was manufactured, and I suppose Hamburg would be the apex of the fun industry.
Only the finest in modern entertainment is allowed at this establishment, which according to my research, involves an abundance of Wii tennis and boxing, as well as qype-sponsored field trips into the bustling nightscene.
Lodging also available on polite request as the management keeps fairly busy. top notch.

The Fun Factory was one of the first places I visited in Hamburg...
Spanning 90 square metres and two stories this is a rather well sized venue.

The beer selection at the bar is often potluck though alway rather tasty..or as one of the founders would say 'More then drinkable'
...an awful amount of wheat beer has recently featured behind the bar lately- but if you drink astra you won't go thirsty as it seems this is practically on tap here.

Punters can expect to be not just allowed but forced to consume their beer while watching weekly re-runs of peep show- a favorite night that runs here at the fun factory...the clubs hookah also holds an importaint part in the clubs top floor lounge area activities...

Other nights that feature on the Fun factory calender- This month only in honer of their nations victorious win the boys at the fun factory are celabrating their prowless with 'Naked Tuesday Rugger Bugger Rugby nights'... Boys only obviously... as rubgy isn't a girls game is it??!

A little dirty at times and the decor leaves a lot of be questioned with the OTT laundry theme (one enitre room is draped in old laundry and long forgotten piles of mixed socks and underwear tumbled in a corner... art for arts sake? Does one even want to know the answer to that?)

The small Kiosk/cafe doesn't feature much on the menu irregardless this is the only place ladies and gentleman in Hamburg where you are guaranteed to get a proper cup of English tea!!! Brillent!!

Did I mention it also runs as a small exclusive YHA as well??-
The Fun Factory really just has you covered!
