6 Nations, Wales v Scotland great day for Hubby not so great day for me! Awesome Stadium in all aspects – the view of pitch, acoustics, set up of bars, food stalls and even the toilets which due to entrances at both sides could have been a problem with queue jumping, but they had Staff around to make sure this was not the case. Compared to Twickers far superior, no blow through of wind, no massive queue for the bar, no jam packed trying to leave. The stairs to the 6th floor left you out of breath is the only negative thing I can say.
I have been lucky enough to see quite a few awesome events at the MillStad, from Robbie Williams / Take That concerts, FA Cup final (3:3 between liverpool and west ham), Rugby World cup semi final (FR : NZ) and Bristol City lose in the league 1 play off final
Living in Bristol it's a very easy stadium to get to, you can park in the city centre or get the train (but beware the queues on the way home).
It has great facilities, and compared to Wembley Stadium it is a bargain for parking, food and drink.
Most seats have a great view, although I once sat 3 rows from the pitchside and had difficulty in seeing much other than stuff right in front of me.

Great stadium. Went here for the England Wales game and it was amazing. Had corporate hospitality so the box, food, drink and view were superb.
An absolutely amazing day out and it's meant to be even better for the rugby.
i'll be going back soon i hope
As stadia go, this is certainly the best. The Millennium Stadium show the rest of the world how it's done - for atmosphere and view. They have built it vertically instead of spread out, and this makes a real difference, because even at the top you're not terribly far away from the ground.
The facilities are excellent (though some of the men's toilets are, bizarrely, completely cubicles), and there are numerous bars and food halls as well as places to get a good range of drinks. Getting into and out of even a high part of the stadium is quick and efficient, with minimal waiting around - a really well-designed place.
Top-notch.

What a sporting venue!!! Close to everything- trains, bus station, pubs+ restaurants. A fantastic structure with atmosphere like no other stadium i have visited. Many, many bars inside so always close to a watering hole+ of course many toilet facilities aswell!!!!
Sporting venues simply do not get better than this.
Slap bang in the city centre, great atmosphere all around the ground with the hundreds of watering holes around the place.
Great atmosphere inside even when not a sell-out.
A day out here for a Wales home game is always a memorable experience.
I had my best ever memory as a football supporter was at this stadium!

Forget the price of beer, it was always going to be an expensive day out but the memories from that day are always going to be priceless!!!

As big event spaces go, The Millennium Stadium is probably the best in the country (although, it is worth pointing out that I haven't been to the new Wembley yet).
Be it a sporting event or a music gig, the organisation here is incredibly good.
In sporting terms, the acoustics have been considered, making fan chants amplified as all the noise stays inside the ground. The stadium can be covered by the mechanical roof, which really ramps the volume up.
As for gigs, a recent show I went to only served to further my high opinion of the place. The volume was impressively loud (though not oppressively so) and the views from everywhere in the ground are decent enough.
The gradient of the stands may frighten a few who are afraid of heights, but personally, I think it adds to the sheer awesomeness of it all.
I'm more of a fan of intimate places, but there's no hiding from the fact that The Millennium Stadium is one of the most impressive places in Britain and Wales as a whole should be incredibly proud of it.
As it is slap-bang in the middle of the city, it only adds to the charm and if you find yourself on one of the top layers, you're treated to great views of Cardiff's rooftops and the River Taff.
A genuinely world-class venue for almost any occasion. Superb.
Great place to go see a match, been there a few times. I’ve even seen a few bands play here. The foods great, a tad overpriced though but all good fun. It’s a massive stadium, parkings not brilliant often had to park in packed multistory and pay rediculas amounts, but it always ends up worth it.
Possibly the best stadium in the UK.
Situated in the heart of cardiff and visible from miles around the stadium gives an amazing atmosphere and makes you feel like your part of the action.
The food and drink outlets are expensive so bring your own food and drink.
Each seat around the stadium offers a good view of the pitch.
Without doubt the best stadium in the world. Excellent leg room and great views from every seat, and with the roof closed a wonderful atmosphere for concerts.
The food and drink options are good and particularly nice to see 'real sausages’ at hot dog stalls instead of overpriced frankfurters.
The location is perfect, right in the city centre and close to the railway station.
I saw U2 here a few years back, it was raining outside but we were nice and dry as the roof was over. A brilliant stadium with excellent facilities. A credit to cardiff
I have some pretty good memories of this place and obviously some not so good buthey, it’s not the stadium’s fault West Ham lost to Liverpool!
The stadium isn’t too far away from the station - not that you’d really notice even if it were, what with all the bars/pubs en route.
Facilities inside are what you’d expect, toilets are clean with no major queueing issues as far as i noticed and kiosks not cheap yet not quite chelsea priced!
The atmosphere inside is absolutely amazing and even if you’re up at the top it’s not too bad a view (unless you’re scared of heights in which case, do what i do and take a brother/friend etc who will run down to grab your drinks etc!).
Wales’ finest venue, for football, rugby, rock gigs. Easy to get to, on the main bus route, a 2 minute walk from the train station, and right in the heart of the city centre. Who could ask for more.
An absolutely fantastic stadium, set in a great city to visit.
Being in the city centre it means that you can have a great day out before going to your sporting or music event. Parking is easy and it’s fine to get away afterwards.
The stadium is well organised, you get a great view wherever you are and there’s always been a great atmosphere whenever I’ve been.
Downsides are the price and quality of food (eat outside before you go in - Gregg’s do a great pasty) and, for me, the retractable roof. A game of football in an enclosed room just feels wrong. By all means have it closed to protect the pitch before the game, or even during it if it’s really that bad, but to have it closed just to show it off is a waste. Still, that’s just me - I would think it would be a good idea when bands are playing though.
Cardiff train station is too small for the city, and it can be carnage after a big game. Staff lied to where the trains were going just to get people away. If you’re lucky enough to live in the north like me it can be a long drive home as well.
Great Stadium though.
I have been to this stadium a few times, mainly to watch Wales rugby team, but also went there to watch the concert done in aid of the tsunami appeal a few years ago. Every time I have been there it has been a great experience, although its always really cold! The drink is very expensive along with the food but this is the same in practically every stadium in the uk so I guess it is expected. I am going back there in July to see Oasis and I can’t wait. It is located in a great place which is near the bus and train station.
I have bad memories of this place but its a great stadium none the less.
Good views from all over and the atmosphere is great inside.
All kinds of sports are held here and music events too so something for everyone to make an excuse and go!
Went there yesterday for the Wales V New Zealand rugby match and had a fantastic time, without a doubt the Millennium Stadium is the greatest stadium in the world!
The stadium is situated in Cardiff city centre only minutes away from the train station, bus terminal and Cardiff council even organise several park and rides, which makes travelling to games a lot easier.
When you get into the stadium everything is very organised with plenty of bars serving beer etc and there are also stalls selling soft drinks, hot food, sweets etc, prices are rather high but you expect that.
Finding your seat is easy because everything is well marked and there are loads of stewards around, only willing to help the lost and drunk!!
Our seats were at the very top of the stadium,we had an amazing view and could still see the action on the field, helped by two large screens.
Overall the Millennium stadium is the best because its well organised has great seating and an electric atmosphere.
