I didn’t quite realise how popular this place is with little people until I became a playworker in the area. We walked past and it was particular difficult to draw them away from the door! ” My mum takes me there, its the best place in the world” .. apparently. No honestly they really do have 2 floors of absolute child heaven, and designed in a way that enables parents to enterain their children whilst shopping. I wish there was more of them.

This is the best children's shop in London. It sells everything from dolls to racing cars. There's a great children's book shop at the back, and a section where you can buy prams, cots and highchairs. The best thing is the hairdresser where I always take the kids for a trim. It's the only place they'll actually sit still and let someone cut their hair because they can watch a video while the hairdresser does her stuff. Upstairs there's a whole floor dedicated to children's clothes and shoes, although a lot of these are designer and quite pricey. And in the middle of the shop there's a lovely carousel which they open up on the hour so the kids can have a ride. They also have a beautiful wind-up puppet show which plays Peter and the Woolf every half an hour. My little one finds this mesmerising.
