Joe Cool

This is a really interesting little shop. It's a tightly packed jewellery and gift store with a really quirky range of products that are unusual & fun. The prices (particularly the jewellery) are really good and the staff are friendly.

I originally went in to look for a birthday present for my friend (which I got) but ended up buying a whole load of stuff for me as well! Special mention must go the the enormous selection of earrings of all shapes & sizes. I bought some in the shape of apple cores for my friend, which she loved, and I got myself some cherries, sparkly skulls and rainbow coloured feathers.

The card selection is the best I've seen outside of shops like Paperchase. Some of them were very rude (and funny) so beware of letting your little kids browse the racks if they can read!

The only thing I would criticise is that the shop is quite cramped but that's only because a) it's small & b) it's got so much great stuff in it.

Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for some unsusual jewellery or a fun bag, scarf etc.

Joe Cool is just that cool. If you’re looking for something a bit different then this is the place. Great for presents, mostly for girls and women. I love the wonder woman mugs and blonde joke merchandise. There are a great selection of funky cards to suit every occasion and every taste. This is ideal if you’re buying for teenage girls or a young adult. Lots of bags, jewellery, watches, purses, accessories and nick nacks. It has extremely funky wrapping paper and gift bags.

So if you’re looking for something a bit different and a bit special this is the place to go.

Joe Cool is a little boutique/accessory shop up near Greyfriars churchyard. It’s great if you’re looking for an unusual present for someone as the shop has so much in it.

Mainly they specialise in jewellery with racks, cabinets and shelves covered in every kind of jewellery imaginable. Prices range from a few pounds for a woven bracelet to the more expensive stuff made of silver and precious stones.

They also have a large selection of greeting cards, bags, and gifts so there’s something for everyone. Whenever i go in here i always end up spending hours trying on all the different jewels and end up walking away with something for myself (even though i only went in for a greetings card!).

I’d definitely recommend this place! Girls- leave the boyfriends/husbands in the pub next door and you can shop to your hearts delight!

Joe Cool is a small accessories shop which sells beaded jewellery, wooden jewellery, body jewellery, bags, bracelets, cards etc. It’s a great place to find unusual, arty presents and to buy interesting jewellery for yourself!
