I’m not reviewing the hospital but the exterior lighting outside the Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre (RDCEC) is amazing. Best seen on a dark night it really is a wonder to suddenly find yourself in front of this amazing lightshow.
It’s round the back of the Hospital on Peerless St.

The childrens ward at Moorfiels hospital is one of the most principle hospitals I know. As soon as you walk through the front door the gracious warmth of the room welcoms you. Tree trunk shaped support beams with animal figures hanging off the branches at the top. How refreshing not to find life size pretentious Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny characters posted on every wall. I would prefer to keep those non educational value features away from my little brother for once. The main room is a bright, spacious and airy area which I didnt feel cramped up and frustrated in while waiting. Ya that's what prevents this hospital from a five star rating, the waiting. However when your turn to consult the physician comes he/she greets you with a confident handshake which assures me of their professionalism even more.
