Fitness first at Old Street Oversuscribed their gym so much in new year that I could not even get a locker and often just went home. To improve matters I took out a so called “Black Label” membership so that I could go to the exclusive club at London Bridge. At London bridge things were better but I still could not get on the equipment that I wanted without a long wait so I took up riding my bike to work and resigned my membership. Subsequently they debited my card without my permision. So the lessons are (1) don’t go there in the first place and (2) when you resign your memership; cancel the card that you signed up with because you are dealing with a bunch of crooks.

Your completely right. Fitness first is a joke. They are the crappiest gym I've seen so far. They have crap service, and rip you off.

FOR THE RECORD - This is without question the worst gym in London. Possibly the worst in the world. I'd rather be pumping iron in the yard on Rikers Island than set foot in this hell hole one more time. It's places like this that make me seriously doubt humanity. Awful customer service, crap facilities and completely overpriced. Should Fitness First really charge the same amount for the 4m x 5m shitbox of a gym in Brixton as they do for the facility in South Kensington with the gold encrusted bath taps? I think not.

Let's buycott Fitness First altogether. Let's create our own gym with free towels, friendly staff and compulsary high-fiving. Who's with me!?
