Compliment SFost (19-10-2007) 5

This is the PERFECT place, nestled about halfway down Middle Street. The menu is extensive, to say the least, and you get LOADS of food for your money. Go before 5 (for lunch) and you get a three course meal for £5. Can't beat that! I'm a vegetarian, so I'm thrilled by the number of options available to me, but I've also been with plenty of people who love the meat dishes. Everything looks...and tastes...amazing! My favorite thing is this appetizer (i cannot, for the life of me, think of the name) but they're little pastry baskets filled with veggies. I LOVE THEM! I also LOVE the peanut sauce so would recommend ANY dish with that. Totally YUMMY!

The restaurant is a bit small, which adds to its charm, and the staff are very friendly. It's a great place for a friendly lunch or a late night date. I wouldn't think it would be considered very child-friendly, which is perhaps the reason that I've never seen a child in there. But maybe that has more to do with the fact that Thai isn't really kid-ish. In any case, it truly is a hidden gem in Brighton. Make an effort to get off the beaten track and try it!
