On my way home from work today, I noticed quite a few people walking into Lakeland, a store I admit I've never heard of. As I walked by, I saw kitchen products and since I needed a new saucepan, I decided to go in. Thank goodness for that! What a GREAT store! I'm pretty new to Edinburgh so this was a treat and a discovery! Not only did I get that saucepan, but I also walked out with several storage containers, a strainer, new dishtowels, and a microwaveable saucepan. And...to be honest...I could've bought a lot more! This was like the IKEA of kitchenwares. Admittedly, the prices (for some items) were a bit hefty, but there were just as many products in the "budget range".

They also had several food gift items and a fair share of interesting gadgets, so I know I'll be returning before Christmas to stock up!
