Adding to the prior review, I can add something on the restaurant. Unfortunately it tries far too hard to be an upmarket, sophisticated dining experience. Aspiring to be something like that you might find in Central London, the dishes are over fancy, over drizzled & over coulis-ed. The food's not great either. Everything comes on modern plates with constructions & towers. They should've stuck to something more in character with the rest of the hotel - relaxed, traditional & informal. Also, beware - i went on a weekend and they were hosting a wedding reception. Unfortunately the hotel's not that big (nor the car park) so it did impact somewhat on the visit.

Secluded in 15 acres of a beautiful park, this hotel near Dartford provides for a very pleasant stay. Rowhill Grange was built in 1868 as a summer house and was converted into a country house hotel in 1978. The hotel has available 38 individually furnished rooms, not carrying numbers but flower names. Ample space is provided to relax and spend your time at the bar, in the chimney room, and in the tea and breakfast rooms. The whole character of the hotel – much to my liking – is very English and far from the uniform appearance of international hotel chains.

Attached to the hotel is an ample spa, hosting a swimming pool, a therapy pool with underwater massage beds and a waterfall, sauna and steam rooms, and a jacuzzi. All is decorated in the style of roman baths. The hotel has two restaurants, which, however, I did not visit and therefore cannot judge.
