One of the best park visits I have had. Absolutely beautiful with deers roaming around as well.
Beautiful and serene.. Definitely recommend if you don’t mind the Deers!
One of the best park to go to if you need to clear your head and escape the madness of central London. Extremely quiet and peaceful, with a huge amount of space and the deers walking past you with no fear.
Tremendously breathtaking park. It’s expanse was a shock. Having lived in london all my life and not knowing that this gem ever existed.
all around you is nature, not a building insight. be at one with nature here. witness herds of deer. great for a long peaceful walk, or bike ride. perfect for picnics. Photographers would love this place too. Richmond park, you have not seen the last of me. I cant get enough of you.
Richmond Park-The true heaven
I always wanted to go to this place but never got time all throughout last year.Last week I did get an opportunity and really cashed in.
This is the largest royal park in London and a perfect place to enjoy summer. It is hard to beleive that this park is in a bustling city. The park is very spacious and you can really find the beauty and freshness of nature out here.
The park is famous for deers and it also has a huge playground in case you want to plunge into summer sports activity. The park is well maintained and has some landscaped areas as well. You do get cycle hires from 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 6.00pm in weekends. You can get a ride of 2 hours in around £10.With the park opening time from 7 am to 7 pm I really find it convenient enough to explore but beleive me one day is not enough and impossible to cover.
I find car park filling up quite early in summers and creating bit problem if you are a late entrant.I will suggest you to walk to King Henry’s Mound which is the highest point in the park and you can see the surrounding beauty. It has huge garden called Isabella plantation .I really made full use of my camera here. The park always has some special events organized to keep the tempo up.In my last visit I saw a painting competition attracting artists of all ages.
I recommend this park to you if you have not visited yet. I can promise that you will be lost in the landscape of hills, gardens and grasslands setting.
A must go and stress buster for busy Londoners….

Every time I go to Richmond Park, I always think it’s going to be a shorter walk than it actually is. This place is no exception.
Don’t forget to check out Ian Drury’s bench. …….Reasons to be cheerful…..
definitely an experience, wouldn’t go here weekly but definitely something that has to be done once!
The best park in London. Extensive range and landscape which offers a great day out for the family and London citizens alike. You can go for a great run or cycle around the park. The deers are also pretty cool.

This Park is my favourite place. I love the deers there and the stags. Love walling around and being with my family.
This place looks fantastic! I will arrange and go....
And to think Regent's Park has been my favourite for so long! I went to Richmond Park after looking online for interesting walks around London and being recommended this, and it was wonderful! You get amazing views and really great picnicking areas. I didn't get to see any of the famous deer while I was there but I'm going to go again :) Pembroke Lodge/Gardens are amazing, so I'm very excited to traverse the rest of this park :D
EDIT --
Went here again, and jeebus we found the deer xD They come right up to you if you come close and they're quite friendly :P I was quite giddy about that.
Real countryside in the middle of London... unbelievable
I nearly hit a deer in my last drive through, what an amazing park!
I think Richmond Park is the best playground for kids as well. Climbing strange growing trees and building up little houses from branches its so lovely. My son just love it. We all can find something special there. Peace and quiet, sport, playground created by nature - just across the road. Cool ha:)

Living a 5 minute walk away from one of the park gates definitely has it's perks. As soon as the sun was out on Saturday I put on my shoes and lazily strolled up to the park, grabbing a 99cone on my arrival.
The park is one of the most beautiful places in the sun as well as in the snow. After the big snow fall a few years ago I remember attempting to take a sleigh out and once finally arriving at the park, being taken aback by how beautiful it was. All White - from the ground up to the sky.
Then you have it when the sun is shinty down and the birds and ducks are moving by the pond. It is gorgeous and so peaceful.
It has an excellent bike path that leads you all the way around the park - you can hire bikes if needed.
Lovely place to spend your day getting lost within the trees with friends or partners. Lots of hidden places for romantic picnics in the sun :)
Quite, peaceful with lots of space to enjoy the surrounding deer and greenery.
Walking in this park is a true joy and one can always find nooks and cranies to have some peace away from the blackberry and mobile phone worlds everyone is drawn to.
Enjoy and take a picnic
