What a fab music venue, the acoustics are great and each experience is a good one. Usually I am sceptical about going to medium to large capacity venues, but this one is big enough without screwing around with the vibe or sound (cough cough, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, cough…). Highly recommend anyone to go see a gig here!
Seen some great concerts, and recently a one man show. An amazing venue for performances. The outside terrace is fantastic, though not much shelter from wind and rain.
Drinks are a bit pricey and last time I was there was constantly being misdirected by staff that assumed I was going to La Cirque.
Fantastic Music venue – great place to see a band the acoustics and atmosphere as expected were incredible. Been to a few nights here always had a top night although must agree drinks not the best….but have enough and it wont matter.
Itunes festival’s are held here every summer and I have seen Kanye west, Mr hudson and many more acts
The venue is great, the drinks are ok(ish) and the sound is quality.
The Underground Film Club at famous music venue, The Roundhouse is showing some classic films in the run up to Christmas.
I went to see Quentin Tarantino’s classic film, Pulp Fiction starring John Travolta, Samuel L Jackson and Bruce Willis.
First released in 1994, it tells the story of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster’s wife, and a pair of diner Bonnie and Clyde wannabes, intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption.
The Roundhouse is the latest organisation to get in on the act of showing much loved films in iconic London landmarks.
Held in the Dorfman Hub which was once used to store ash and cinders from the steam trains.
Situated directly beneath the famous floors of the Roundhouse, this labyrinth of elegant brick chambers and narrows passages creates a unique subterranean atmosphere like no other.
The programme includes cult classics such as Casablanca, Dirty Dancing, Reservoir Dogs and It’s a Wonderful Life. Tickets are selling out fast so make sure you book your tickets for a unique cinema experience in a stunning location.
The Underground Film Club at The Roundhouse is being held until 18th December.

A good venue, rather small though. Well, medium size. Not enough bars and not enough staff working there.. People were queueing well after the show had started to get a drink.

This place is amazing!
It has multiple stages and therefore is capable of hosting different kinds of events.
I’ve seen gigs, circus, film and silent film with live orchestra soundtrack here and it was all amazing!
Several bars and a garden only add to the enjoyment!
My first time there this weekend. Excellent venue!!
Camden Roundhouse is simply amazing! Loved it for years now and saw the amazing Amy Winehouse RIP there before, great venue and a classic of the Camden area!
When working at my university’s radio station, the ace crew managed to get us a group booking for a radio workshop at the Roundhouse. I went for most of the lessons, and met some really fun people. Learnt a few things, met George Golloway, who (I discovered) enjoys couscous. Created a show called ‘I love London.’
I also went for a puppet show, ‘Pinnochio’, staged by Indefinite Articles (director and producer: Steve Tiplady) which was thoroughly enjoyable since it played with themes of puppetry, and carpentry all live in what was essentially a carpenter’s workshop. A very well thought out and engaging performance. Tiplady made the performance really interactive, and got all the kids (including me! ha!) to join in. Geppetto’s workshop was brought to life .
Friendly staff, a very cool building, an Arts venue with a lot to offer.
My first time there was this Friday. I can't believe I didn't go there before. The sound quality is more than amazing!
I recently went to see Taking Back Sunday at The Roundhouse (don't judge me haha), it was the first time I'd ever been to the venue and I absolutely loved it! It's in a really good location just next to Chalk Farm Station and they have the most amazing roof terrace on the first floor. The main room has great acoustics (apparently it used to be a massive place where all the London tubes were kept when not in service) and fortunately drinks aren't too expensive. Another big bonus is that there are lots and lots of toilets so there were no horrendous queues outside the girls loos!
What - no review for the Roundhouse? Cannot believe it... it is such a popular place for concerts, cabaret, shows and also food as they have a new restaurant. They do great brunch, and it is amazing for coffee, too. Very friendly staff!
I love this venue, great views from most everywhere, great sound. I love the use of the old space with all the modern conveniences that make a great show.
There is a huge patio, which is a nice place where you can have BBQ and some drinks before a show in the summer. I also understand they have done up the cafe bar and look forward to checking that out in the near future.
What an awesome venue! I headed here for the Goldfrapp/Marina and the Diamonds show as part of the iTunes festival and was blown away by the space. It's so nice compared to many other, older venues which are a bit grotty. The outdoor terrace area is also a nice touch for enjoying some food or a drink before the show starts.
It feels really spacious but somehow still fairly intimate.
Great venue that will be hosting the BT Digital Music Awards on 30th September this year - the UK's only awards dedicated to honouring pioneers in digital music. Previous winners include Kylie Minogue, The Chemical Brothers and Oasis.
Super duper venue, always put on shows from interesting acts and the atmosphere has always been great when I've been. Need to try out the cafe, which I hear is great.
The Roundhouse is nice for a concert venue, you have a good vision of the scene anywhere you are, nice acoustic, the drinks are not t oo expensive and the bar/lounge/smoking area is beautiful if you just want to have a rest during a concert. Wide range of music venues.
