Review of Puncheon from 28 October 2012
Puncheon tries to market itself as a wine bar, however the wine list is not overly extensive and is a tad pricey.  I had a glass of nothing-special-sauvignon blanc which set me back more than seven pounds.  That said, the staff are friendly (although not overly knowledgeable about their wine selection) and the place has a nice ambience.  The food on the menu also looked tasty and well priced, although I didn't try it.

The Puncheon is a Wine Bar near Farringdon station.

It has a big terrasse, very pleasant for sunny warm fridays ;-).

They've got a good selection of wines (average price not too expensive: £10-15 the bottle), nice sharing platters (like nachos).
