I haven't been to this place for a little while, but it still sticks in my mind as being a really cool place to go - if memory serves, the downstairs area is all dim lighting, low seating and comfy cushions, with delicious tagines served for everyone to share.

Nestled on Hampstead high street Al Kasbar a morroccan restaurant which is almost hidden from passers by, justic's smoke from the candle lit entrance enticing you in especially on a winters day.

The decor is all authentic, huge brass round tables, rugged seats, cushions and shisha's surround upstairs and down, the lower floor is also rented out for private party's and on week ends there is a belly dancer swirling around creating a great atmosphere with everyone clapping and enjoying themselves.

The food is amazing, everything is extra tasty and the mint tea is awesome.

Make sure you end your meal and experience with a shisha!
