Silk Bed Restaurant

Visited for the first time on 17 March for dinner. It was a great dining experience. The beds are more like over sized semicircular elevated booths covered in white leather. Each bed/booth is large enough to accommodate at least six people. The food and drinks are placed on trays between couples. There was a DJ playing house music. The service, food, and music were outstanding. The price was a bit much. You can calculate about 120 Euro per person for the meal (extra for drinks). You should calculate paying at least another 60 Euro for a nice bottle of wine, water and coffee for two people. Do make your reservation at least two weeks in advance; arrive before the 20.00 start time. Check the menu on the website as it changes regularly.

ATTIRE: ranged from guys with suits and open collars with ladies in high fashion, to guys wearing Ed Hardy t-shirts and girls in tacky short dresses (the latter two not recommended). Do remember to wear nice socks or stockings, as you will be required to take off your shoes as you lounge and dine on the beds.

PARKING: arrive early and skip the valet parking.

Highly recommended. Makes for great romantic evening or a special night out with a group of friends.

Really awesome restaurant! I read a review in the local paper about the restaurant and decided to try it out. The food is fantastic and surprisingly at a really affordable price. Location is amazing :-)

There are several BED restaurants in the world, I myself had been in Miami (Bed), Salzburg (Pur Pur), Munich (Nektar) and there are others, like Supperclub with several locations around the world and of course here in Frankfurt we have Silk Restaurant. At Silk you get by far the best food amongst the bed restaurants, Michelin also recognized the quality and issued Mario Lohninger 1 Star. The design of the restaurant and overall Service is outstanding. You will spend the entire evening there as it serves Molecular Cuisine; it was one of my best dining experiences in Germany… I Strongly recommend for you to try it!
