This is a lovely place to visit on a sunny day. If it is clear you can see for absolutely miles and pick out most of the London dity attractions. It offers excellent views of the city and is just so picturesque its wonderful. There are a lot of 'poser types’ there but it worth a visit. Picnics and dog walking around there are fun and celebrity spotting is a past time enjoyed my many. There are some good surrounding pubs and cafes if you fancy some food or drink, but you can take your own to enjoy further up the hill if you want.

Primrose hill is a super romantic setting and relatively central if you are looking to meet friends somewhere convenient. I like it cos it is close to Regent’s park and the zoo as well as Camden town. So after a picnic there are plenty of locations to walk to. One draw back is it’s a hill so no football or cricket I’m afraid.

Lovely park especially during summer. Situated near Camden so is a perfect place vist during a shopping trip to get away from the busy market. It always seems to be busy.

In my opinion, the nicest park in London, and one I walk through nearly every day. It’s always busy with locals walking their dogs or playing with their children.

I happen to live here, so could I give a few tips to those who don’t - if you enjoy Primrose Hill Park, and it’s surroundings - please keep it tidy and take your rubbish with you, particularly in the summer months when you are enjoying your picnics, you can’t exit the park without walking past a bin, and if they are full, at least place your rubbish alongside one.

Primrose Hill, I believe is the only Royal Park in London that remains open after dusk, therefore, it attracts a lot of evening visitors around bonfire night through to New Years Eve - please be mindful of the residents and their pets - letting off fireworks at all times of the night is not appreciated and leaves behind more mess.

Other than that, enjoy, it is one of London’s free pleasures.

The park keepers and cleaners do a wonderful job, and are out every Saturday and Sunday morning clearing up visitors mess.

This always the mid point of my welcome to london walk for friends and family who come to town for a visit. Start along the canal, go through the insanity of Camden Market, then over to primrose to see one of the best views of the city skyline.

Also just great for a summers day with a beer and some friends….

Although feeling strange about reviewing a hill in London, any time I have had friends come to visit it is top of my list of things to do. They view is incredible. A great way to start or end the day. If you have never been before, it gives you a fantastic idea of quite how vast London is.
A real treat to have - I miss not being nearby anymore!

Amazing views over London. Great for a picnic and also good as a jog circuit. Beware of the dogs- loads of dog-walkers around. For those with young kids, the playground at the bottom is quite nice in summer.

Best for walking the dogs, strolling with family, and picnic. Undoubtedly one of the best spot in London. Heard it is good for new year’s even countdown too! Best to go with friends.

Primrose Hill is easily one of my favourite spots in London. The incredible views whether you go day or night really bring things into perspective and one of the busiest cities in the world suddenly seems so quiet. Its a gorgeous spot to go with your girlfriend or with a mate to sit and have a beer. The lights in the park below really add to the atmosphere and I have some great memories here.

Every year my friends and I go to Primrose Hill for the countdown celebration. It’s usually cold and dark, but the panaromic views of London and the fireworks is spectacular. Worth all the coldness. On a great fine day, our dogs love it there as it provides a little space for them to run around and plat with the children. Overall experience is fantastic.

I love waiting at primrose hill for its sunset. It gives a spectacular panaromic view of London City. I went there with another frined during one summer afternoon and it feels like a family friendly place as there are many families walking their dogs, playing on the field, and picnicking. Highly recommended.

I love going there on weekends during summer, it’s quite central and it has one of the best views of London. Many families and couples go there with picnic baskets for a great day out. Even if you can’t be bothered with preparing a few sandwiches there are plenty of cafes nearby where you can sit down and watch the world go by.

Primrose Hill is a bit of a mixed bag. The views at the top of the hill are without a doubt, fantastic (only rivaled by Parliament Hill on Hampstead Hill and Greenwich Park) but the surrounding greens are a bit disappointing. It’s not brilliantly kept, and the grass if often a bit overgrown. That said any bit of green in London is appreciated and the area itself is beautiful - the village and surrounding areas are great to wander around in. Plus it’s right next to Regents Park & London Zoo, so just nip across the street and extend your walk.

Or if something a bit rougher is your kind of thing, then just take a quick wander back to Camden Town!

Must admit that I don’t live too far away - Primrose Hill was great before the hype. The view is still breathtaking, but you can get that from plenty of other places.

Ah Primrose hill fond memories of my teenage years living in Camden Town. The area has such a fantastic aura about it and there’s plenty to do in all the fantastic quirky shops and you can buy some of the best meals in London from the array of many restaurants. There’s something for every palate but be warned it’s pricey and the drink can be very expensive for wine and such like. Lots of friendly and sometimes odd looking people milling around and you can even bump into a few stars. My only real nag is the parking again! If you are disabled like myself then public transport isn’t always an option and therefore you need to drive and be able to park. It was very hard to find somewhere legal to park with a blue badge as this area parking is at a premium.

A place that I would go for New Year’s Eve countdown. The panaromic view of London City is unforgettable (so as the bitter coldness). Tips to first timer: wear a thick wool coat.

Primrose Hill is an artificial hill built up from the land excavated to build regents canal, which explains its oddly symmetrical shape. Its a great place to catch views across London from. There is a small childrens play ground at the bottom too.

Also, at the top is a water resevoir, which was used to supply water to areas in North London. Generally, this is worth a visit if you are in the area, or are going to the zoo which is right next to it.

One of the best parks in London - a perfect place for a Sunday afternoon stroll after going through the madness of Camden Market. It’s a short steep walk to the top of the hill, but then you have gorgeous romantic views over London’s fantastic skyline. And then it’s a nice walk back through the nicer parts of London NW1 with gorgeous architecture and lovely houses to gawp at.

Primrose Hill is located to the north west of Regents Park near St Johns Wood. The highlight of primrose hill is the hill itself! If you are able to climb to the top on a clear day then you will be treated to a great panoramic view of London. If you look closely you may be able to see the London Eye, as well as the BT Tower and the Gherkin. If you look around the local area there are also many nice pubs to visit. Primrose hill is also a popular place where celebrities live. As such you might spot a few if your lucky!

It is also a fantastic place to relax and soak up some sun, or just have a nice picnic.

The greatest views of London!A bit climbing that needs to be done but well worth the effort. The place with all amazing and relaxing cafes and restaurants is a great place to go after visiting Camden Town, which is 10 minutes walk away. On hot summer days it is extremely hard to find a place for your blanky on the hill, as it seems whole London comes there to get a bit of sun.
The hill itself is connected with Regent’s Park and at the bottom of it right by the canal sits the London Zoo.
Remember to check the prices of the restaurants and cafes before ordering as some of them are really extortionate!
And last but not least thing… the ultimate celebrity spotting place with Gwen Stefani living right opposite the bottom of the hill, Robert Plant just around the corner and many others.

One of the best park’s in London. Climb to the top for a great view of London (there is a skyline guide here which labels the building). It’s best to visit in the summer. A lot of celebrities live here and you can often spot a few relaxing in the park. Make sure you visit Sylvia Plath’s old house if you are a poetry fan. It is located on the road opposite the hill. You can see the purple boarded up window where she hung herself. There is also a piece of graffiti by Banksy on the wall opposite Dominoes Pizza.

Along with Hampstead Heath this is a wonderful spot from which to view London. There plenty of good pubs and restaurants in the area and it’s right beside Regents Park.

The walk up to the viewpoint isn’t too stressful either!

As the Blur lyric painted on the side of one of the paths there says, ’’its windy there and the views so nice’’. Really beautiful place. There are areas to play sport and a playground but most people seem to use it as a place to sit, chat and contemplate life.

Nice kool spot, Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park have been appreciated in literature, art, and music. Enterprises and institutions are very important to Primrose Hill’s residents and visitors. A great place for comfort and mingling
