The Fat Cow, Denham, Uxbridge

This was my second visit to this place. The first visit was about a year ago when the food was good. This time the meat was so tough I couldn't even cut it, the rosti was burnt and the broccoli had not seen a saucepan of hot water (one other person in the party had the same meal and the same problem. At the end of the evening an Australian woman, who I was informed was the landlady, who was drunk, was extremely abusive blaming me and not the meat in her restaurant! After spending nearly £42 on my bill I do not expect to be treated in this way and would never, ever go back.

Been to the Fat cow several time now,the food is wonderful,the boss Dave is a great block, he realy makes you welcome.The staff do go theextra mile to please.

Only eaten here once but what a great experience. Food was superb, beautifully cooked, well presented, efficiently served by friendly staff.

The Fat Cow is a pub in Denham which has recently had a bit of a revamp and is now also a restaurant.

The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are always really friendly and don't mind if you need to change anything (I recommend switching fries for chunky chips!)It can get busy and, as it's a small place, I'd recommend phoning ahead to book a table. It's a great place for families, friends and couples. If you're not hungry just stay in the bar area for a pint and the rugby on the telly!

There are limited tables outside for when it's sunny and for you smokers.
