Fantastic range of quality hi-fi equipment and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. Top marks.
Richer sounds sells fairly cheap home entertainment electricals (so tv’s hi-fi and the like). I first shopped here ages ago when I bought myself a separates systems, which I was given tons of help on. My most recent purchase was a surround sound system and again the staff were great. Can get very very busy at new year!

When I decided to come to Edinburgh uni, the first thing my Dad said was 'Great- you can pick me up some things at Richer sounds.' Practically an Edinburgh institution, this wee shop on Chambers street stocks nothing but the best in hi-fis and TVs. The prices are reasonable, the staff the friendliest and most knowledgable around and they give you free lollypops if you borrow a child to take with you. Fantastic.
