I knew Lee as a kid and used to go to him when he started started up in Hadleigh Essex and then in Leigh. He was good even back then. I can never find anyone who does my hair how I want it so am going to track him down at one of his salons to start doing it again.

Just had my hair cut at his salon in Derby- what a mess. I can only describe it as hacked and categorically would say it is the worst hair cut I have ever had. I think Lee Stafford in his business Quest to franchise his name to Salons needs to have better quality control check in place will never return. Plus cannot access his website after 5 attempts- does he have one?
I will stick to Nicky Clark and John Frieda London salons .

I used to come here, but that was only because of Billy and Georgia. But since they moved onto pastures new, so did I.

There are a couple of cutters in there that for how much they price, you would be better off letting a student from a Toni and Guy academy have a bash at hacking off your locks. I have also found the ways in which you are listened to regarding what you want can vary, stylist to stylist.

It was nice when my cutter and stylist were there but that for me was the only reason that I wanted to go there.

I love Lee Stafford! The cuts are always superb, whether you’re giving instructions or letting them loose on you. I’ve had a couple of different stylists but each time has been great.

Love this place, the staff are cool and for the more adventurous, there is a sex toys vending machine in the girls toilets!

Very swanky, very soho.

I am surprised I haven’t reviewd this before actually. Great classics…
The owner, Lee, is brilliant. Great fun, very flirtatious and good looking (beware though no saint, only on one’s danger:).
However on top of it he is a great hairdresser, one of the very few who don’t want to cut as much as possible stating 'but we will keep th elenght’. If you want to treat yourself and have hair done by Lee be ready to spend with big S. The rest of his staff is nice and good as well and works cheaper though. Lee also has a salon in Brighton…I think that beauty services available in both, never tried though!!

I actually went to Lee Stafford after reading reviews on this site, and have come out agreeing with everything I had read. The salon was fantastic, creatively designed. My stylist was very quiet, and so gentle that I was concerned I was not going to come out with much of a haircut. But he did a great job, and I was really pleased with the cut. He also listened to everything I asked for, (which is often a problem with hairstylists). Another great bonus are the freebee vouchers for first time customers on the website. My only gripe with the salon (and this was brought up in the reviews) was the rudeness and nonchalant attitude of the reception staff. They really seemed to feel they were above mere customers. I recommended my friend to the salon and gave her a friend-recommendation voucher. She gave all the voucher details when she made her appointment, but when she went to pay, the reception staff tried to tell her it was void, and then made a big show of being put out by having to give a discount. My friend was appalled at the service, but like me, was happy with the haircut. I will be going back, but next time if I get rude treatment from reception, I will be putting them in their place!!

This salon is amazing! I managed to get an appointment on the afternoon on which I walked past and had impulsively decided to have my hair cut something which Toni and Guy in the same street could not offer. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and my stylist was excellent. He was knowledgeable about hair and confident in the proposals he made. My hair ended up looking amazing- one of the best cuts I have had in some time. Plus all the seats are old style barber chairs which are incredibly comfortable and the choice of drinks is fantastic. They take customer service very seriously and have ana amazing special for first time customers. After your first cut, yo get a half price discount card for a friend. Once your friend has used this, they return it to you and your next cut is also half price. Definitely worth leaving your current stylist to give this place a try!
