I think it is fair to describe this pub as a local’s pub. It’s hidden away from the main streets so you would be unlikely to happen upon it on your travels.
Initial impressions were good. Ok they didn’t serve ale from a pump, just some chilled stuff from a tap…but that’s better than some places. The music was interesting, unpredictable but good. The décor was quite unique too…lots of pictures of horses.
There were a couple of TVs that were fairly inoffensive…until just as we left the music stopped and suddenly there was the sound of revving engines…looked like some kind of dirtbikes…oh dear…and they were doing so well.
