Ketchup

I am unashamedly a regular at Ketchup – currently working my way through the menu..

Think a really really nice American style diner. The prices are so reasonable for the quality of the food especially before dinner time (think it’s 5pm) when it’s 2 for 1 burgers if your a student! Annd you get the chips and side with that. Starters-wise I love the little deep fried cheese balls, the onion rings are a tad greasy but standard. The burger I would hiighly reccommend (a repeat order on my behalf) is the Jumpin’ Jack Flash – Bacon, cheese, bbq sauce. Just nom. But all the burgers are great! There is a humongous selection of burgers including veggie.
Choccywoccydoodah dessert looks intimidating, but tackle it between two of you it’s worth it.
If you only have time to stop by and grab something make it one of their milkshakes. Sooo thick, proper milkshake.

The atmosphere is busy mostly throughout the whole day but you still feel like you have your own space. The staff are also really friendly and helpful.

Altogether, if your looking for somewhere casual to eat but want more of an atmosphere and good food, go to Ketchup!!

Used to be a regular here when i stayed in Glasgow. The food is always excellent, the burgers are delicious and the vegi option(Mexican bean burger) is superb. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating and the food is served quickly. The prices are great and they do awesome 2-4-1 deals as well.

I was in Ketchup Southside last week and had a great experience! It was great value for money, the staff were very friendly and the burgers are amazing!! Will be returning very soon!

You get what you pay for here - the burgers are massive! There's a large range of different meats and styles of burgers but to date my favourite has to be one of the chicken burgers with jalapenos and melted cheese. Chips are extra but due to the size of the burgers you don't really crave much more.
At most times there is some kind of deal that allows you a 2 for 1 on burgers. At the end of every meal they provide a scratchcard that has some sort of freebie.
The chocolate milkshakes are great too.

Certainly somewhere you want to avoid if on a diet.

Good quality American-style burger diner. Chicken burger was very nice, with a really big piece of chicken breast on a wholemeal bap.

Burgers are around £7-9 each, with chips, onion rings and salads all extra for £1.95. Given these prices it’s not that impressive, but with a social animal voucher or a “matric” card you can get two-for-one on burgers, with the cheapest free. This alone brings up the rating to 4 stars but if you cannot get a voucher then I would give Ketchup a 3*.

Food was really good and filling, the decor quite cool and staff service friendly.
