If you're looking for live comedy in Bristol then this is the best place to go. They usually have a great line-up (I've only seen a handful of shock-tactic comedians there...who only get laughs by making the audience a bit nervous), whereas places like Jongleurs seem to hire comedians with the basest and most boring humour.

The drinks are expensive but worth it, (especially if you're sitting in the front,) and the bouncer there is really nice (but a bit scary), and will find you a seat if there's one available and you haven't booked. It's best to book, but I never have, and I've always found a seat somewhere.
