strengthofabear: “Came here on New Years Day for Lunch with Ruiz and others, ended up staying till 11pm. Good jukebox. Helpful staff. Nice beer garden. Good location. Food was very average, standard pub stuff at best and not a lot of choice.” more...4 reviews of White Hart in English
Serves a couple of real ales (the incredibly predictable duo!) and is actually quite a nice, if unspectacular corner boozer. I liked the layout and could happily while away some hours in this kind of pub.
I was curious and pleasantly surprised by all the attractive women that seemed to keep walking past our table. Took me a while to clock that we were sat outside the ladies loo.
A nice little pub walking distance from both Southwark and Borough Tube stations. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is a "hidden gem", but it certainly does the job. London Pride on tap (i think that was the only ale) and although the pub is narrow and can look deceptively full, we found it relatively easy to find a seat.
Having just read MissRachelle's review, i was disappointed not to see the San Andreas fault running through the pub. The only "epic crack" i saw was that of the Landlord when he bent down to change the pumps.... Ho hum.

Possibly the most expensive food in the area for a boozer plus its nowt special. Beers are the norm but they do star, all drinks are normal price. couple of teles an a quiz machine an a few tables outside, though it does get the sun after work. ok pub if local. bar staff are usually pleasant.
This lovely old dear is rammed tight with local business types (and with the young and upcoming in the area this means side fringe over eye rather than suit.
A great little boozer with an epic crack running the length of the building from all the local construction- go now… lest it slant into the road and start to shade that lovely outdoor area!
