Schokoladenmuseum Köln

Really disappointed, although the museum was a great experience, when we stopped to have a hot chocolate at the cafe afterward, we have the worst service I have ever experienced. Although my group was a little difficult (one lactose intolerant and one gluten intolerant) the waiter was absolutely appalling when we made our requests due to our diet, literally slammed down our hot chocolates and cake so hard on the table some fell out and then made a performance when we didn’t give a tip. Go to the museum, but avoid the cafe like the plague!

I loved my first visit when I was a kid. The chocolate fountain back then was not fenced off and everyone could just take a waver and start eating chocolate. I think this changed when they were bought by Lindt. I did not enjoy my last visit. It is all fenced off now and you cannot touch anything yourself anymore. If you’re interested in chocolate and are in Cologne, have a go. It’s rather cheap.

This is a chocolate lovers dream. When you enter, the first thing to greet you is the huge chocolate fountain - tasters are available of course, crispy wafers to dunk in the fountain. From there you can follow the process from the bean to the final product. There is also a gift shop selling - yes you’ve guessed it - chocolate!

This is the place that I have never seen in the whole my life!!! Sincerely speaking, when i have heard about the Schokoladen Museum, I really cant believe my ears and at once tried to imagine what could be seen there… Perhaps, some of people who was there for the first time, would give me my back:) But… I would Understand them with all my hands on:):):) come here to get more knowledge about chocolate, to touch the taste of genuine chocolate… YOU WILL Get MoRe View to it By All Means!!!
