Masala Zone’s - located in Soho, Covent Garden, Camden Town, Islington and Earls Court - offer real Indian food at value prices. Our Islington restaurant, located in buzzy Upper Street minutes away from Angel tube and the Vue Cinema, is welcoming, warm and great value. The large outside terrace seats 40 and is perfect for al fresco dining (there are even gas heaters to help you through the summer nights!). The food at all Masala Zone’s are authentic Indian - we serve curries but not as you see in a local curry house. Try dishes as eaten on the streets of India - such as butter chicken (chicken tikka in a tangy tomato based sauce) or dhaaba roghan josh (lamb curry with intense flavours). Thalis are the most popular and unique offering at Masala Zones, typical Indian balanced meals they are served on a large platter (thali) with serveral bowls of different dishes, giving a balanced combination of nutrition, flavours, textures and colours - such as fresh vegetables, dal, raita, chapatti served with your choice of curry and rice. Priced at just £7.80 for a chicken or vegetable thali or £12.50 for the most expensive combination (two curries) grand thali they present true dining value for lunch or dinner. Drinks are served with a smile, we serve wine (house wine £11.75), lassi, masala chai and of course Cobra (£3.25 a bottle). If you have no time for a meal we offer a take away service and home delivery.
