Cap de Formentor

This is the place to go walking and breathing pure clear mountain air. There are wonderful footpaths leading to Cap Formentor which are well signposted and carefully made with the rocks of the mountains, zig zagging their way up and down the steep inclines(or huge mountains, in my terms!).

The scariest bit of Cap Formentor is the driving along the narrow road zig zagging, more than the footpaths, and occasionally meeting a coachload of tourists!! However the drive is well worth it with lots of look out spots and amazing views to both sides of the island as it narrows into the point.

Cap Formentor is the place to be at dusk as the sun goes down and sky becomes suffused in pink and orange hues, followed by moon and stars shining down.
