I would say the variety isn't as big as some of the other chocolate shops in this area - towards Morningisde. Never the less - still good qualiity chocolate. Wouldn't give any of the chocolate away as presents.

there are two chocolate shops in Bruntsfield and this by far is the best. The flavours are many and the the quality excellent. I love the fact that the staff here are so knowledgable. The chocolate is ORGANIC, GLUTEN FREE, NON GM AND ETHICALLY TRADED! YIPPEE! At last chocolate I can eat (I am vegan and gluten intolerant) and truly enjoy

The chocolates here are delicious, and made using very high quality couvertures. My favourite bar so far is the sea-salted caramel and pine nut, although I am also a fan of the white chocolate and raspberry.
I was also lucky enough to receive a day at the Coco Chocolate School as a birthday present. It was a great day out, and I loved that you were allowed to help yourself to chocolate at any point in the day! It was also really interesting to learn about how chocolate is made, and you get to take home a lot of what you make.
Such high quality products don’t come cheap, so I can’t shop at Coco as often as I’d like.

Their chocolates are outstanding. I have a sweet toothed friend who frequents the shop whenever he attends a dinner party. It secures him many invitations and rightly so!

Came across Coco when they co hosted a rum and chocolate tasting at the festival. Had to go and suss out the shop after the chat from one of their staff on their approach to chocolate making.
It’s not cheap but when you know what goes into the choc then it’s not surprising really. They use all organic and excellent ingredients to ensure the choc is perfect. It really does melt in your mouth as it’s made out of coco butter with no nasty cheap veg fats to pad it out.
If you know a chocaholic them treat them this christmas!

This is a fabulous chocolate shop . EXcellent is not a strong enough word ! They make all kinds of different chocolates in bar from including some quite unusual ones like cardamom. They also make a range of chocolates that you can select individually.
There is also a tiny bar that sits about 3 people where you have order hot chocolate ( fantastic) or have a coffee and one of their equally fantastic brownies. As another reviewer said, if you are a chocolate lover don’t come here with too much money in your pocket,

Really nice staff that know their chocolate!
If you like chocolate it might be a good idea for you to make sure you don’t have much money in your pocket when you come here. You will spend it all! Great variety and great great chocolate…
JK Rowling sometimes shops here.

Chocolate is my drug of choice and Coco delivers consistently divine high cocoa content confections that also make a lovely gift.

The best chocolates to be had are from Coco. All your chocolate needs will be met! Not the cheapest place but it is top quality, rich and well made. It is a cute little shop half way up Bruntsfield Place. They are truly specialists! Great for presents and treats.

This is the chocolate lover's haven. The beans are organic, the staff are delightful and well informed, the chocolate is to die for. Need one say more.
I shall. I challenge people to walk in to this Aladdin's chocolate cave and not buy something. Everyone I saw enter the place (while I sat there with my chilli infused hot chocolate) turned into Hansel and Gretel once inside. Mouths start to salivate as the door is opened and pockets are filled with chocolate before the door is opened again.
