Interesting and constantly changing menu provides a seemingly endless combination of flavours. Well priced milkshakes, made to order and, unless you go in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday, is generally very quick. So much better than ‘Shakespeares’, which has prententious and much less tasty milkshakes. Definitely play about with combinations of flavours – a turkish delight and lemon slice milkshake, for example, really is wonderful!

Went to Moo-Moo's last Saturday and it was an absolute joke. There must of been about 15 people waiting for their milkshakes in the most disorganised system I have ever seen. It is a tiny corridor to que in, you have to order at one window and walk down to the other window to collect. The guy in the order window, just carried out taking orders regardless of the huge pileup happening outside. We ended up waiting nearly 15 minutes for our order, which is an absolulte joke for a blended chocolate bar!

You cannot go into Oxford city centre without seeing someone with a delightful moo-moo's cup. The cow immediately is easy to recognise and as soon as you've seen one you must have one yourself! They offer an amazing variety of different flavours and combinations; I have taken my friends and relatives there several times and always tried something new. Although it isn't in the easiest place to get t once you have found it on the outskirts of the covered market you are greeted by a huge queue of people, The queue is always worth it though because by the end of it you know you will be enjoying a delicious smoothie. I would defiantly recommend this place to my friends and family, as it is friendly and fun. :)x

Wow. This place is so good that I came here twice in a day.

My first visit featured a delicious smoothie, but while I was waiting for it to be prepared I saw the wonderful list of milkshake options (well over 100 choices) and I started feeling slightly remorseful about my choice.

So I came back an hour later and enjoyed a fruit salad chew milkshake and it was oh so very nice. Made with soy milk so something healthy to go with the sugar and chocolate.

The downside. Well the popularity of this place means that there is a bit of a wait for your drink and this part of the covered market can get quite cramped with people also waiting. Considering the volume of their orders though I think they do quite well. They do process them as quickly as you could reasonably expect.

Mmm...Moo-moos. So good I wish I'd gone to Oxford, rather than The Other Place. I had a smoothie which was excellent - thick and v. cold - and went perfectly with these fruits on a stick that they sel in another stale in the market (can't remember the name). Craving one now...

Yes this place is truly great. A massive selection of random unhealthy crap and a happy bunch of people who would just love to shove it in a blender and mix it up with milk and icecream. The result: awesomeness.

The only way this place could get any better would be if they made alcoholic milkshakes.

If I lived next door to this place then I’d definitely have a BMI in the mid-thirties and a serious case of type-2 diabetes. But I’d be all milky and happy.

Definitly the best place in Oxford for Milkshakes. They have an awesome selection of flavours and if you do eventually run out (thats over 200 milkshakes later!) if you ask nicely they’ll even make up special flavours for you!
Remember to keep your loyalty card topped up - every 10th milkshake is free! - and then sign your card so it can go up on the wall.
Oh and watch out for the cows hanging from the ceiling!

Delicious Milkshakes, Best In Oxfordshire!

Situated in the lovely Covered Market in Oxford, Moo-Moos is a stall specialising in milkshakes and smoothies. Whilst there is the inevitable strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, Moo-Moos also offer flavours of milkshake that you had never really considered. Chilli and ginger, melon, battenburg and jam tart are amongst some of the flavours available for those with more adventurous taste buds.

Having sampled both the smoothies and the milkshakes, I definitely favour the milkshakes. The smoothies are no doubt healthier but I found the flavour in them to be a little “thin”, but other may feel differently.

Moo-Moos also offer a loyalty card for returning customers, which is always nice and the staff are always very friendly

Usually there’s a long line at Moo-Moo’s on a Saturday, so be prepared to wait, but its worth the wait. Choose from a mind-boggling array of additions to a milkshake base - make sure you don’t get a huge size of something you only sort of like! Even if After-Eight or Bounty is your all-time favourite, be prepared to not want any for a while after gulping down one of their milkshakes.

My husband raved about this place so much I had to try it for myself.It is true the milkshakes are gorgeous and I love the name, it speaks for itself. Great place to visit if you need a pick me up.Ideally situated in the covered market, it is lovely to be able to take a break in a more modern coffee shop.

i would reccomend this place to anyone as its a great place and has a lovely atmosphere.
they also have some nice light snacks available and jellybeans my fave .

Moo Moos specialises in freshly made milkshakes made to order with your choice of flavour. At first the concept of a jellybean or a marshmallow milkshake sounds a bit strange but trust me they taste amazing and the recommended “specials” combinations are to die for.

The smoothies are also really delicious with the mooless being dairy free. They also do student discount and have a loyalty card which gets stamped every time you buy a milkshake and gets you a free one when it is full.

Much cheaper than the chain stores and very moreish, Moo Moos milkshakes are highly recommended!

Make sure you come here! It’s quite close to Ben’s cookies, so with a cookie and a milkshake together, you can spoil yourself! The milshakes are amazing, you can choose from nearly any chocolate flavour imaginable and they will make the shake in front of you. A loyalty card gives you a free milkshake after you have bought seven. I have a friend who drives up from London just for these they’re so good!

i like to mix and match with sesame snap and troblaron, i also love skittles, strawberry cheesecake, and blackjack!
they are under £2 for a large one and there is no need for lunch as you feel so full after!
they are calorie-tastic but you can choose from healthier options..dont ask me what they are i can only pay attention to the super sweet things when im there!
and dont be afraid to ask for your own mix!
you can even buy chocolate bars and sweets that they use if you ask nicely
they even have a stamp and once you get 5 you get a FREE milkshake!

The Oxford covered market is synonymous with niche local businesses. For shopping in Oxford, the covered market is an essential first stop. If you find yourself passing through the various shops in need of something sweet and have already evaded the other temptations, then reward yourself here with a stop off at Moo Moo’s, surely the best milk shake you’ll ever buy. You can literally have any food type made into a shake or smoothie, so there’s always an original flavour to suit your originality. I tried a banana and curly wurly shake and it was brilliant. I’m hooked

This is a great little shop, selling milkshakes with a huge variety of flavours - they mix up ice cream and milk with loads of things like chocolate bars, cereals, sweets and fruits.

Be prepared to queue for this as it's always really popular - it's not a huge shop so there's only a limited number of machines.

I like the Refresher's shake, if you're into sour sweets give it a try. It's fairly good value for a little treat on your way past.

Be warned - only for those with a sweet tooth!

Moo-Moo's is a bit like Shaken Stephens, but is literally just a stand in the Covered Market. Its main speciality is milkshakes, and there is an enormous list of things to rot your teeth and other sugary goodies, all of which can be combined to make a yummy smoothy. The sizes are actually very generous - I thought the small one looked too small, so went for medium, but respect to anyone who can finish something so rich and so big! There's something very satisfying about picking the most unlikely of ingredients and watching the staff merrily mixing them all into oblivion. Just watch out: some of the ingredients aren't very easy to drink through a straw - marshmallow and crunchie bits are remarkably stubborn, but there's nothing stopping you scooping them out at the end! The walls inside the stand are also fun for looking at - covered in Moo-Moo loyalty cards, some with doodles or signatures on, showing just how popular the place is. Of course, you get your own loyalty card, which leads to more goodies.
