THE PORK SHOP

This shop is the best ever food shop I choose to buy from!! I came across this shop a last year and I refuse to buy my meat anywhere else now, the sausages are to die for, the old English and pork n leek are the best. Everything is so fresh and made on the day!

Great shop and do really nice pork pies, there is always a queue and they do a bustling trade, staff are very helpful and a wide range of pork cuts, bacon, gammon etc. it would be nice if they did a full range of meats other than pork, called in to see if they had a meat pie, I might as well be asking for unicorns horns lol :)

I used to love this shop and I would still highly recommend the pork pies, however I've noticed recently that the quality of the filled rolls has definitely deteriorated. They used to be really generously filled, especially the salad ones, but gradually they seem to have been putting less and less in them. I had one today and unfortunately it will be my last one as it was really disappointing. Nevertheless, it is still a really popular little shop and nearly always has a queue of people. There's a hot counter with chicken, pies etc. and as well as sandwiches they sell cakes, fruit pies, savoury pies, muffins and cold meats sliced while you wait. There is also a butcher's counter with a reasonable range of meat. Probably the most popular shop of its type in Poulton, and there's plenty of competition, but it's a shame that the sandwiches aren't as nice as they used to be.

The Pork Shop is in the square at Poulton le Fylde and is a very busy shop selling three sizes of pork pies freshly made sandwitchs and a full butchers shop of meats.Tis a shop we always visit on our pub crawls of Poulton.
